Same here, just uninstall the mod and find a new one, causes so many problems

Getting an error in mod launcher where it says its missing "descriptor" file. Preventing me from even turning the mod on :( tried the most common mod bug fixed, unsubbing, subbing, deleting the mod from directory, extracting the files from the zip in the mod directory...

FYI, just did a compatibility check w the new NSB DLC 1.11.1. Seems to be working just fine. Remember, this mod must be enabled in the Custom Game Rules and takes a game day to become available in-game.

Is the Mod author still around? because there is quite a major bug/flaw with this mod. The Mod adds research slots to every country, that works fine, but there is no script that keeps track of if the additional slots have already been added. For example: Spain gets slots right after the game starts, but when the civil war spawns the "new" countries also get research slots despite already carrying the extra slots from the original spain with them over. Also, if you release a nation they get the original 4,5, or 6 from their overlord plus the ones the mod adds regardless. Means you can get like 10 slots for a country even if you just added only 1 via the mod. Completely breaks the game

Guys, the reason it does't work is because you're not enabling it in the custom game options while selecting a country. Idk if the Zeitgeist option still works but the extra slots for majors definitely does.

not even 1 day, this adds slot just in 1 in-game time. that guy really have no patience.

Did you wait at least 1 in game days ? The slots are added via an event so it doesn't trigger right at the start of the game.

idk, just loaded up a game with my buddy as Germany and Austria, selected +2 in the settings, didn't get +2. Seems not to be working.

@Araxiel You should precise that you need the "Together for Victory" DLC for the Zeitgeist setting.

@Araxiel - hey, sorry to disturb you, but this mod doesn't seem to work correctly in the current version. Honestly, have no idea, what exactly was broken, but at least Zeitgeist feature with tech, getting obsolete, seems not to be present.

Hi to start off, the problems that occur from my own quick playthroughs with this mod seems to stem from Random, Random Extra, and Random Extreme as they sometimes remove a research slot from the Major powers, however, minor nations don’t seem to have this issue but I am not completely certain. Absolute 5, Everyone 1&2 , Minors 1&2, Minors 2 & Majors 1, and Majors 1 seem to be the only modes properly working right now. I loved the original mod and I was overjoyed when I found out this existed and pretty much subscribed to it immediately thanks for making this.

so the random option is not random at all it always adds 1 research slot to the soviet union and like 3-4 to the uk and italy.. or in some cases doesn't add slots at all, in some nations it even removes slots e.g. yugo with 1 research slot when it's set on random 1-5 ???

The Zeitgeist addition has to be one of the best things I've seen added to HOI in a very long time. Makes playing as a minor much more viable and makes research feel much better overall. Thank you!

Would it be possible to make an option to disable the Zeitgeist bonus for industrial/engineering research? That's the one area where I feel it's very unbalanced, since you can easily get free +50% speed on all techs as long as you wait for the AI to all do them.

@Turkish Emperor - that would mean 7 slots for Germany in early '37.

An approach to widen and deepen the research aspects of the game in combination with Zeitgeist - great idea btw - could be to give more research slots for different criteria, e.g. factories per million citizen or bonuses for military technologie if you have a lot of military factories.

Maybe u can buy upto 3 research slots by the decisions.
First buy 100 pp
Second buy 250 pp
Third buy 400 pp

Minors One sets the research slots to 5. Minors Two doesn't do anything.
Everything else seems to work fine.
