Dang. I keep looking for a mod that actually gives every model to every country, but it does seem like no one's taken on that task yet. Replacing it is just not quite enough, especially now with the Prototype Vehicles

It should work with the DLC as is since the DLC seems to add new entities rather then alter existing ones.

Will you update it? OR does it already work with the new DLC: Prototypes Vehicles?

The devs have resumed development in HOI4, with the preparations for the release of the next country pack, Graveyard of Empires. That release date will be on March 4.

Because of that, the changes regarding Afghanistan, India, Iraq and Iran will be required once the said DLC is released

I don't tend to update the mod since it will work through pretty much all patches. But I do check back to see if it's broken and needs to be updated when every some one asked for an update.

And yes I do still do additions or amendments to the mod on request. Following your request, I have implemented the two additional nations of Eritrea and Somalia using Italian and Soviet Tanks, and added the US tanks to Ethiopia.

Love the mod, dunno if you are still updating it or taking recommendations, but could Eritrea (ERI) and Somalia (SOM) be given Italian light tanks, heavy tanks, and basic medium tanks (as they historically were Italian colonies) and then Soviet medium 1 and 2 tanks and modern tanks (as both would receive so it aid post war including t-34s and t-54/55s)

also it would make more sense for Ethiopia to have American light tank 3s and modern tanks.

It's possible but I'm afraid I'm not in any position to commit to that at the current moment.

Can you the same with the Soldiers?

Hey thanks for reporting in. I looked into it a while ago and the re-skins are all working fine. They currently do not need an update.

Gotterdammerung DLC is now officially released; the mod, along with the 88th and Communist China reskins, are needed to update.

Not only that, Belgium, with its own unique focus tree, is now included as well

I have not been keeping up with HOI4 news for a while. I'll see if anything changes that requires a mod update when the expansion is released.

The next expansion, Götterdämmerung, is due to be released this coming November 14. This will deal with Germany, Hungary, Austria and Belgium.

No, but this mod does use those models. Not having the armor pack would mean that missing models should have the game fall back on default major nation models if available.

Do I really need the Axis and allied armor packs? They are very expensive and petty much useless

Sure, I've updated the mod so that the Lt 35 and Lt38 are now included as part of Slovakia no tier cultural tanks.

Could you give Slovakia the Czech Lt35 and 38 as that is what tanks they historically used the most.

Looks like Indonesia will have Soviet tanks and planes, aside from Stuart and Sherman; This is mainly because Indonesia celebrated its 79th year of Independence from the Netherlands, with the Soviet Union supporting Indonesia during Sukarno's time.

Hello, I never was able to figure out how to get planes to work. There are some mods that do add or change planes. You could try to download those and check their code. I tried to do the same in the past, but even with the code structure, I could never get it to work on my own end for some reason.

Hello author! been using your mod forever now. I'm trying to do what you did but for plane models, specifically giving Argentina the German plane models. I tried you code but changed it a bit, didn't work. HOI4 modding discord seems to hate me so I though I'd ask here :)

Hm, I don't think I can get separate tanks to work for the different faction of Spain like I could for the US. Whoever you or the AI choose to play as, will inherent the SPR tag, and the other factions would be given a temporary tag like D01, D02, D03 depending on if they are the first revolt to pop or the second in the world.

This can result in a problem if for some reason, Spain does not have a civil war first. But this also make it not possible to set Nationalist and Republican Spain's tanks independently since, again whoever you play as will inherit the SPR tag and it's current lineup of tanks.

I'll look into it and see if I can get that to work

Hey, any chance of giving Republican Spain Soviet models? The German ones are fine for Fascist Spain, but the Republicans having them doesn't make much sense

The mod actually does not need an update to work since it's a GFX mod. I only added tanks for Vietnam.

Ah, that because some of the tanks where originally very small in comparison to the infantry models, so I did increase the size of some tanks slightly. But depending on the province the tank and it's weight class may appear quite big.

i love the mod, but i cant understand why some of the tanks are normal sized and others are the size of a whole province.

Ok, so I checked over what changed, and it seems like nothing much other then the Devs moving the DLC files into the main game's folder. The good news is that the names and ID of all the old DLC tanks stayed the same, so none of the code was broken. There's no bad news really. The mod should keep working fine.

In light of the recent developments in Hearts of Iron IV, it seems that the DLCs, particularly Together for Victory, Death or Dishonor and Waking the Tiger, are merged with the original base game. Because of that, the three of them are no longer available in the Steam store.

Oh sorry. I do not own the new TOA DLC so none of the new tank models appear for any of the DLC nations if they had any. This prevents me from making any detailed edits on those nations. I've moved out the files for the mod affecting Chile and Argentina now. So now the new DLC tanks should appear on those nations, although they will not have tanks from other nations.

Hey man! I've been using your mod for a couple of years now, and I see that after TOA many new models for ARG and CHI get overwritten by the mod. I don't know if you can do anything about it, but thanks!

It seems that unless I buy the expansion, I will not be able to see what units Brazil will have. That or it's a bug and the models are part of the free update. The best I could do right now is to remove all Brazil tanks so that the new models, if any will appear for DLC owners.

Looks like Trial of Allegiance is already released today. I guess this may update now.

As for Brazil, I wonder what historical units the Brazilian Armed Forces has...

Ok, I'll remove tanks from Brazil to see what models they added before the 7th, then re-add them once I know which model tier is missing some time after.

Hearts of Iron IV's next expansion, "Trial of Allegiance", will be due for release this coming March 7. As such, this will be going to deal with the whole of Latin America, particularly Brazil.

Is there a way to make a similar mod but for filling the plane gaps? It's weird to see that even with DLCs Australia's Spitfire, per example, uses the generic model.

I could do that, but I would have to replace one of the UK tank models. The other problem is that I don't remember where to find the Firefly.

Due to the new expansions, made alterations to Finland's tank line ups and remove redundancies such as the KV-1, as they now have their own version of several major nation tanks.

However, Finland currently seems to have a bug where the game will only use base game Finland tanks for light, medium, and heavy. As a result you will not be able to choose other 3D sprite as Finland except for Modern and Super heavy.

This mod is currently functional and does not require an update.

Brazil's armored divisions finally make sense now

Right, Since you have DoD, tanks that come from that DLC will appear properly. On all other tanks from DLC you don't have, they will appear as major nation generics, or non major nation generics.

So from what I understand, I can use this mod without those DLCs but I won't have models for those tanks? I have DoD but not the other two.
