Despite that setting that is supposed to fix the issue of getting stuck in loading screen, i keep getting stuck in the loading screen.

I don't want that bandages, bloodbags, antivirus pills and antivirus injectors that come with the mod appear in any loot. I have tried to add them to the blacklist in the mod settings, but it did not work. What else can I try?

Hello... I have problems loading the mission... I get a screen with a warning that says you are dead... And then it stays black for a long time... Then the mission starts.... Please what's up? How can I fix that? Thank you

How do I type in class names for extra gear? Do I just space em like, "LAGO_CP LAGO_KU3K LAGO_KU5K"?, or is my intuition right that I space them with semicolons then a space like "LAGO_CP; LAGO_KU3K; LAGO_KU5K"?

@Criminal all you need to type is B_Soldier_1,B_Soldier_2,B_Soldier_3,B_Soldier_2 you dont need space between or any other

Yes I had already tried that however I was getting error something along the lines of "B_soldier_2 bad vehicle type" or something and it would only spawn whatever the first class is in the list.

Great mod but when adding custom units to the AI spawn list is there a specific format to type them out or just put a coma? for example B_Soldier_1, B_Soldier_2 ect? or does it need quotes, brackets ect?

Yes, I was hoping if there is a rogue SIDE FACTION in your mod and can be use to spawn other modded units by ambient :steamhappy:

Hi guys,

- renegade Side: nice idea will add it
- youtube has VA tutorials but they suck =D dont bother with the trade post its very bugged. Else join the discord, someone just posted some guideance on trade posts
- future VA has better possibilities to spawn custom units array
- for all other questions please read the mod description
- also feel free to join discord where other users may also be keen to help you out with usage questions and such

None of this will be implemented for this (steam) version of the mod but I am working on these things for a next version.

I'm not sure if the Ravage AI equipper is working. In the AI settings, I turn off the VDA Ai equipper and turn on the Ravage AI equipper but it seems to just spawn units in their default gear. Additionally, I've tried using the 'Unit Froms Mods' feature but no matter what classname I type in, I still only get CSAT bandits.

Thanks for the quick response! The issue I'm having did seem to occur after a recent A3 update. However, I was changing the va settings and very well likely messed something up that way. Is there a way to return va back to the default settings? Again, love your mod! Keep up the great work!!

hiho, its probaly a spawn or initiation problem i did not properly consider in this version. not sure however, could also be your va settings or other mods/scripts. I am not awarw of such issues in the WIP version of the mod but we are still testing.

Great mod! It adds a whole new dynamic to playing single player survival scenarios! However, I have run into an issue that whenever I play VA with a previously compatible game it starts normally for approximately 20 seconds and the game starts to lag severely. I don't know what I did wrong or how to correct it. If anyone has any suggestions on how to correct it I greatly appreciate it!

if you have a female AI mod you shoud be able to add custom female AI classnames to the AI spawner settings (CBA settings)

Currently the gender mix of AI is skewed to men only (especially ai bandits and stalkers). Can we have a provision to add females to these factions (or define probability of females in the ai bandits/stalker groups)? Or is there an alternate way to do this currently which I am not aware?

@Narwhal: There should be a setting to disable this yeah. Via Addon Options.

@Luiz: yeah i reworked that, generally dynamic waypoints are a pain. VA 3.0 is reworked there and simplified.
AI mag refill: Thanks! yeah i actually wanted to add something that would ensure AI do not run out of ammo. Something that I might add with a own script that does the same thing (no dependency).

thanks! Sorry I cant help with that problem. Server setup is not my strong suit and I am not actively working on steam VA so I do not plan to update anything.

Also a suggestion for a small tweak would be to change the "Waypoint Type" of AI spawned in Sites (Hideout, Bandit Camp, Crash Sites, etc.) from "Guard" to "Hold" type.

Basically these two types of waypoints frequently have the same functions, but the "Guard" waypoint can create some issues with "Guard Type" of triggers.

I suggest looking at the Bohemia Community Wiki article about the Waypoint Types, then look up the "Guard" type of waypoint.

This script is perfect to allow the AI to have less magazines, while not having them run out of ammo.
However worth mentioning that it requires the Ravage mod in order to work, since it makes use of a Ravage mod function.

Hey Vandeanson, I would like to give you a suggestion to use the Ravage "RVG_fnc_Fired" function on AI spawned by your mod.

It will make use of the Ravage function that allows AI to have "infinite ammo", while still needing to reload their weapons.
Just use something like this line of code, with "_unit" being the unit being spawned:

_unit addEventHandler ["Fired", {_this spawn RVG_fnc_Fired}];

I love this mod and it has a ton of great features. However, I just bought a new server and after an entire weekend of troubleshooting, I discovered that this mod is causing a problem where I can't load custom missions in my server. I would be happy to share my server log to see if you can pinpoint why this is happening, but I had to go through my entire server modlist and finally isolated this mod as the culprit. Please add me if you would like more explanation or the server logs, I would love to see this mod working on my server in the future.

@Vandeanson, I've been using this mod since you first started it many thanks. I recently watched your youtube development update from a few weeks ago and many of the features I saw in that look different than what I am using. Your HUD looks different and your interaction menus seem different. Also I've been trying to use the temperature feature but nothing really happens. I get no feed back on the clothing I have on of it I'm cold or wet. Do I need to uninstall, and reinstall to get the current version?

Hi guys, small update to remove dynamic simulation by default. if you wish to enable the old syste, do this:

dynamic simulation disabled by default.
In order to enable, add this to your init.sqf:

0 = [] spawn {waituntil {!isnil "VA_DynSymEnabled1"}; sleep 1; VA_DynSymEnabled1 = true;};

if you just want to turn on dynamic simulation, add this to your init.sqf

enableDynamicSimulationSystem true;
"Group" setDynamicSimulationDistance 1000; (change activation distance at will)

@xandious thanks! trading is pretty much bugged and will not work in most situations, it also requires ravage active. There is no fix for it and I have currently removed the tradercamp feature from the WIP version of the mod.
