Just helped with some small details, if I remember correctly...
I love the mod though! It is the perfect answer for my Civ desires.
The land staying bright blue cannot be something that this mod did, with all due respect.

Another thing I've found generally playing Civ VI with mods is that sometimes, there's something retained from the previous mod/game...starting again usually clears that up.
@trevbloke1978 Sorry to say this, but if you're getting a crash no-one else is getting it could be down to something your end, such as a mod you're using.
Edit: How can you exclude the Babylonians!? There's Punt yet no Babylon!? There should be two versions for Babylon, Hammurabi for the old version, and Nebuchadnazzar II for the neo version. Heck some Civilizations have three or even four leaders & yet no Babylonian Civ!? Come on! I downloaded this mod to get Elam, a very significant Civilization, they essentially ended the Sumerian Civilization, one of the oldest Civilizations ever, and also gave rise to the Babylonian empire, but there's no Babylon to go with it in this mod. Very disappointing.
For example i liked two or three civilzations from this mod and want to try to play with them in original game. Is there any way to have these civs without the global mod?
i have solved the issue (for me).
no mods except the anno domini ones, and the No Wonder/Natural Wonder Cinematic mods from Dazz Aephiex. Run the game using the 2K launcher in DX11 only.
literally any UI mods have resulted in crashes/game not loading for me. will not load a game in DX12 either.
have played around 120 turns with no issues so far.
Will try changing up which DX i launch with an report back.
The only mods I have active are the Anno Domini ones (and the warfare expanded pack 1). I have tried with all DLC active, as well as just the ones listed on this page. I very much want to play this mod, as I'm a lil tired of normal civ 6 :(
