In terms of colour scheme it definitely fits but the way the weapon is constructed it looks sort of cobbled/improvised while the armour seems very elegant. I think something with fewer distinct pieces (one continous blade) would look better.
I had some ideas while looking at the original weapon so I'll just throw them in here.
You could try a less angular version (more of a curve like the original Spectre weapon). You could also try making the angle on it more acute so it would be like a very large katar/punch blade.
Anyway set is looking good so far good luck on getting it in game.
