Yellow and Red. The Spanish Blue division composed of hardened veterans of the Spanish civil war who were secretly sent by Franco to crush Bolshevism.

Blue Division was only a name. They uniform was similar to german soldiers, except for spanish logo (national colours -red and yellow-) on right arm, and a logo over the helmet. THEJOELANATOR, if you read something about them, you´ll learn that the positions where they fight, never were broken (not like Romanian or Italian troops, they flew...). Germany soldiers wanted spanish BD volunteers near them because BD units never retreat. Another thing was that when they passed through villages, many russian people offered them food and water, because spanish treated civilian people with humanity. All this is written. They were named after the blue shirts they used under their uniforms which was the political uniform from Spain's fascist party.

Ironic, they were called the blue division, but there logo was yellow and red.
