Thank you for letting me know. It appears there has been a change to how news events fire, that I didn't test. Now KR news events fire for every country as long as they fire at least for one. I fixed my events to comply with that now.

that would make much of this whole mod completely irrelevant and I don't feel like I want to do that, sorry. I'll just stick with having it incompatible. After all, the custom country paths mod will force all kinds of issues by having older files than the actual Kaiserreich Version. If anyone still wants to have both submods working then I suggest to deactivate custom country paths at the time the womens suffrage event fires, get the proper event that way, save and then reactivate custom country paths.
Another way would be to just use the cheat "event gerdom.12" to fire the event twice and thereby setting the women_suffrage flag higher than 3, which is the only trigger for that option in the partition event. You will still need to choose the full suffrage option both times as they only grant a value of two and same as the focus I checked for '>3'.

could you maybe put it as part of the decision to puppet britain then? like as a concession to allow that to happen the german empire changes its opinion on womens suffrage. since i see that that is an annexation event as opposed to a german domestic one. and therefore in a different file

I also considered putting the Feminist Willy gerdom.12 core event into a seperate file so the mod only overwrites that event instead of the file and conflicting mods would potentially not affect this particular event, but that didn't work at all and under all circumstances the standard version would fire.

I believe setting something in the descriptor file as dependent on another mod would guarantee that the dependency is loaded first, though I kinda don't want to do that for a mod that is not required to run my submod. I don't know for sure what else can manipulate the load order though. I think I heard that alphabetical order can also make a difference but that doesn't really explain why the load order is correct for some and breaks for others.

The Problem is that whenever "Feminist Willy" is loaded first and "KR more custom country paths" after that, the latter overwrites the whole 'Germany_Domestic.txt' event file because it manipulates the AI behaviour for the german elections and therefore replaces the gerdom.12 event with the original KR version (and additionally removes the new gerdom.300 event).

i see D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\394360\1623554554 is your mod and this is only a guess here but D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\394360\1792514828 is for custom country paths

so the event id is gerdom.12 to make sure this is working but how does one change load order?

yeah controlling load order in this game is just aweful and I don't really want to set it as a dependency

@Dr. Gojira Assuming you mean the custom country paths submod for Kaiserreich and working means you're getting the event decision to implement full equality, then you are probably lucky to have a different load order than me, so my mod is overwriting the Kaiserreich "Germany - Domestic" event file after the other submod did replace the original.
For me though the load order is Kaiserreich first, Feminist Willy second and custom country paths third, leaving the latter work perfectly as expected but also disabling Feminist Willy's core event.

Actually Custom Country Paths works quite fine with this, assuming you're the one playing Germany that is.

If you want to have Wilhelm become King of Britain and already have chosen full equality in the women's rights event leading to a World News "article" all you then need is get the partition event of Great Britain and I think you need at least to own London for that but owning all of Great Britain (Ireland not included) would be safest.

well suffragette events work and i got the focus finished so more than happy with it, im just wondering what i should be aiming towards in that i should annex it all myself using player led conferences

I might also have forgotten to tell @Lonewonder123 that you need to "create a loyal Britain" in the partition event/decision.
Additionally this Submod is not yet updated to the new Kaiserreich version as the PDX Launcher does not let me upload the update, so wonky things could happen if you try use it right now.
