What could be causing this to Happen?
I may not be able to save this Campaign as it is one with friends, but I would like to know, so I can try it in future.
Also if others are having trouble with the staff. I just use the mod manager book mod that laughingleader also made and i change my preset with that and i immediately get the staff. I just go back to the mirror and change my stats back to how i want them.
I turned every other origin character into one without problems - except for the wrong amount of talent points. It'll just remove the talents but not adding points back so I need to reset them before manually. But you can at least get the initial point with the Lich preset again.
Isn't it possible to add/remove stat points easily? So it'd be just necessary counting the set, calculating the missing points and adding them afterwards if necessary. Especially when using other mods which give some extra stats it'd prevent gaining the wrong amount.
Maybe the step sound should be turned off for the non-legs-lich somehow
Everything else seems to work, like the Phylactery.
1. This issue seems to be from the game entering a status event loop while the game is transitioning levels. Should hopefully be fixed in the next update.
2. Not sure about this one. I applied the race command in-game today and it worked fine, but things can go wrong when you disable mods that add content to the game (items, characters, skills, statuses, etc). You can get the staff from just applying the Lich preset in the LeaderLib preset menu.
3. Looks like this issue is from the later stages of the phylactery missing the crafting category required for the recipe. Will be fixed in the next update.
You can see what I've been working on with Lichdom in the source code commits tab here:
Lichdom Commits [github.com]
I should have an update ready once I test a few things, namely making sure the Act 1 -> Act 2 issue is resolved, and the new extender tooltip stuff is ready.
1) If Lichdom is active, the game crashes after loading the cutscene when proceeding from Act 1 to Act 2.
2) After disabling and re-enabling Lichdom to get into Act 2, using the Leader Lib menu to change any character's race into a Lich to get the one handed staff causes the game to crash. Tested on both Ifan and a random character recruited from the lizard on the Lady Vengeance.
3) Trying to craft a Lich Staff using a Long Branch and the Phylactery generated by the Soul Extractor only results in an invalid recipe.
Can you change that? Your mod is amazing.
Either way, this whole idea sounds sick. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this mod! Thanks for all the work!
Its a great mod. I love undead and only played Fane in my nearly 600 playhours. The mod is the best adition to my playstyle so far. Keep it up. :)
"We were unable to create a working story. Your add-on setup might be invalid. The game will continue from the story of the main adventure."
First, thank you for the mod :) And then, i do have a question.
How do you get the Staff ? I did skip act 1. We did it so many times with friends ; For this session, we did use a mod and then skipped Act 1. Am i able to get the staff somewhere in Act 2 ?
Thank you for your help :)
If you can send me your save (upload it on google drive, dropbox, or onedrive for instance), that may help as it may be something specific in your save causing it.
