SPOILER: Okay, I must admit, the 'zombie type thing' in the room scared the living shit out of me... I really did not expect it to get up
So, the creepy easter egg is that one hidden room which hosts that SCP-106 thing, right? (I didn't get in the room but I discovered it), and it looks like it has a jumpscare, right?.
I'm a pretty scaredy cat. So if someone could tell me: when does the Jumpscare trigger when I enter the secret room? (and how the image looks like).

I left many of the details open to interpretation though.

Indeed, I had much fun in creating this series as I enjoy exploring the possibilities of telling a story without actually saying a single word.
It's pretty cool that people seem to understand the plot and come up with their own theories about what is actually happening. That's what I always wished this series to be, a story that writes itself in your head.
Same with the easter egg thing. It is what you want it to be.
Just pay attention to the surroundings and context. :)

anyway. i never thought id be sad to see a series made inside another game go. but it was a blast and will remain the best stealth missions in paint the town red. perhaps forever

Yeah, that's what I need to do! I have alot of free time, so, maybe I could do this stuff soon? (In a year or 2)
To be fair, creating something like this is not a skill that you're born with. It took me years of practise, creative evolution and pacience to be able to imagine something like this.
In fact, Paint the Town Red was not my first attempt to level design.
I gathered experience over the years in creating content (mainly in terms of level design) to games such as:
Little Big Planet 1&2, Star Wars: Empire at War and the old Battlefront 2, Skyrim, my own indie game ORCOY and many more.
I'm sure if you work hard enough on your passion then you'll be able to create something like this as well.
