Apparently, when I was struck down, Bernie was still up and kicking, just wandering around the arena floor. And apparently, that’s a thing, so my team and I were flabbergasted at our unexpected savior(“Bernie’s the real MVP” - one of my teammates). This small distraction gave way for Woodie to rush on over to resurrect Wilson, who intern resurrected our healer and tanks, so on so forth. The boss lost aggro on Bernie after a while (as Bernie’s HP was now 0), and aggroed onto us. By now, our entire team is back up and mostly kicking, and we resume the fight. We still lost in the end, but it was a fun experience. That’s the only story I can recall at the time being. Sorry it's not much.

Back to the story, so, most is not all of our team members are down at this point, except our runner, Woodie, who’s trying to aggro the boss to the far side of the arena and rush back as quickly as possible to revive anyone. It’s looking grim as Woodie’s health is getting low and the Grand Forge Boarrior is closing on in behind him, but before all is lost, the boss is suddenly aggroed elsewhere. He diverts his attention from Woodie ands starts attacking, you guessed it: Bernie the bear.

Fast forward a bit and 4/6 of our team is down, leaving only the runner and I. I rush over to the side of the arena, and attempt resurrect Wilson, the one character that could resurrect others fastest. But as I was about to finish resurrecting him, the boss aggroed onto me and struck me down, leaving only our Runner left. Now, I was playing Willow as she gets Fire and Explosive attack damage increased by 10% with the correct staves. And Willow is protected by Bernie the Bear, which acts like as an ally mob that draws attention away from its handler and deals damage to enemies.

@Bob good "Mr. fish" This isn’t really a “WTF” moment, but rather one of surprise. Not really that interesting, honestly. I could tell a story of some trolls I once encountered in an MMORPG once, but it wasn’t that interesting. Nor is this one, but here ya go:

During late 2018, there was a seasonal event known as “The Forge” in the game Don’t Starve: Together. It was a team based event with your typical roles of: DPS, Healer, Tank, and Runner/Kiter. During one match, we had gotten down to the last boss (Grand Forge Boarrior) before the next community milestone boss was released. Now, this boss was giving us trouble as he was capable of a spin attack that could hit all players within his range. It was annoying to deal with.
