good for antistasi, lots of detailed buildings and nice scenery, main take is that ai cant really cross bridges but that's arma ai in general

Not sure if it a map or antistasi issue, but I was playing with my friends on antistasi ultimate and found that we could not capture the island airfield north of orion estates. The flag marker appeared on top of a structure so it appeared as though the flag was not spawning.

So I don't know if the dev is still around for this mod, but firstly I want to say that this is probably one of the best maps in Arma, the custom buildings and unique terrain really give it a special feeling.
Secondly, there's a pretty severe bug as of 11/08/2024 that basically renders NVGs entirely unusable by being way too bright. It seems to be an issue with the map lighting but I'm not versed enough in mapping to know for sure. I can send proof if needed to fix it. Other than that, outstanding work on mapping.

Seems that there's a bug on one of the bridges. The Land_LampStreet_small_smth... is floating in the air under the bridge where the other bridge lamps are on the deck as expected. Expected location of this offending object is somewhere around X: 10587.503 Y: 9166.775 Z: 97.477

I joined the discord but can't post in any channels, despite giving an emote to the bot at the bottom of the rules (most of which have nothing to do with me?) .

Anyway, I just wanted to ask you about the new oil rigs (the ones with buildings on them). I'm assuming they must be different from the other oil rigs because when an admin helped me place a base flag on them for Epoch/Exile/etc. we were unable to build anything. It says "don't move more than 20m" as soon as I open a buildable object.

However, I have always been able to build on the other oil rigs. Did you place these differently or make any changes from the old ones?

@Trooper_025 Not sure what you are talking about. I have nothing in the map with gm_ in classnames on the map. Sounds like you have another mod loading with the map that is causing it.

Hey, has anyone else got the following error from the map as of late? "Warning Message: No entry 'bin/config.bin/CfgWorlds.Gulfcoast'." I am not sure why all of a sudden it is happening but my mission files won't load onto my server now and I think this might be the culprit

my server down, I don't know what has been done to the map but I can tell that it looks like merging of the old map style and the new map style happened as the gulfcoast key changed to a _v2.key file.

Got a problem with new server key. aa3_barn.pbo, bank.pbo, bridges.pbo, emoglobinsky.pbo, firehouse.pbo, garage.pbo are not signed with a key accepted by this server.

and I wonder if removing the "curve" from the "Cape Bridge" (making it "straight") could perhaps help the AI to cross it. Because keep in mind that this curved section connects 2 parallel APEX DLC bridges into a single modded bridge, and I think this could cause some problems with the AI pathing.

But I got no clue how the other bridges could be fixed for AI

Also, the castle to the West of "Edgewood" has a square structure (that contains a cell with a skelethon inside of it) around the Eastern side of its perimiter that is extremely angled (perhaps it was oriented to the surface normal of the rock just bellow it?)

Hey, I tested the map out for a bit and it seems like the AI has problems crossing the following bridges:

- The bridge between the southern military base and the mainland
- Cape Bridge
- US 41 Bridge
- Both bridges connecting Cayo island
- The bridge between the mainland and the north eastern island

This problem also extends to the larger tarmac highways through the map (marked with deep orange on the map screen)

I know that this issue should ideally be fixed by the original creator of these assets, but I wonder if it would be possible to just tweak the texture brightness for a bit of a "hotfix" (specially since the assets are included in the mod)

Would it be possible to slightly darken the wall/floor/roof textures from some of the custom buildings?

Some building interior textures are just such a bright almost solid white that it can even be disorientating at times, when inside the building. Not to mention that some of these "almost solid white" textures are so bright that it can even be painful if you look at them for too long.
