Is it possible to make wild animals hunt in packs too? Like our tamed ones

What's the risk of animals being hurt when hunting? Mlie's Cats Hunt For Fun mod does something similar, but in the mod description it specifies that hunting counts as a surprise attack so risk of injury is minimal. Does this mod do that too?

Witnessing my herd of megasloths going in pairs after rhinos assigned for hunting, shredding them in short order was very enjoyable. Thanks for this mod!

"bigger" was a single beaver that was SUPPOSED to be hunted by my actual hunter with a rifle, but was instead "hunted" by the house cat in charge of dealing with rats. Unless the argument is "if you want to use this mod never hunt anything larger than a rat" that seems like a problem.

Predators can hunt only designated targets (with supervised mode enabled in animals tab)

Is there some way to make animals hunt more conservatively? Specifically I want them to not randomly solo-hunt animals that are comparable in strength to themselves. I had a colony cat that decided to randomly solo-hunt a beaver and got itself killed, rather than hunting any of the dozens of rats marked for hunting around the map.

good concept but it seem to ruin my TPS, probably a bad interractioàn with another mod... wasn't the case in 1.4

Always in my QoL pack I add to every mod list, thank you for updating!
In the mod menu it still tagged as 1.4 and not 1.5, but works fine. Just a little eyesore on the mod list

Dear authors, your mod simply rocks, thank you for your amazing work! Can you please add support for Grouped Pawns Lists? It looks like using Grouped Pawns Lists disrupts check marks in the rightmost side of the animal tab where Hunt For Me puts settings for hunting. Many thanks!

@hip hio Uh, why not take a look at the mod options? It's like one of the first things you can add: "List of preys to ignore (DefName PawnKind)"

Do animals have to be have the "haul" skill to haul back what they have hunted?

For example, in vanilla the Warg will hunt naturally even without this mod, but only to feed and then they will leave what they don't eat wherever. pawns will often find and haul them on their own, but since Warg can not haul in vanilla, it will never do this itself.

This mod states that it adds a new hunt[/] training, but does not mention [i[haul[/i] which has been removed from the Warg in vanilla. Will this mod add that skill back? Or is this a setting that needs to be turned on in the mods options?

maybe this is an issue or bug or maybe idk how to setup this mod (didnt change anything) but my trained hunting pets when 'forced to hunt' can not find prey even when in eye sight of the prey (alpaca). is there something you have to do to the mod settings?

I haven't tried this one but does this also affect the animals that follow you while hunting? will they help the hunter?

@Challak They should, as long as they are capable of hauling. As for your human hunters, make sure they are capable of hauling and have access to the relevant stockpile area.

Do the animals bring the corpse back to base? Cause I'm already annoyed as hell enough by the colonist hunters who force me to scour the entire area every hour just to see what they left out there to rot. lol

Really hoped this would work with Rimworld of Magic as when a Necromancer brings back an animal they have everything trained and don't need food but have to eat food to be trained to hunt.

This mod keeps trying and failing to add the Hunt job to the new(ish) Void monsters. A Red Error is shown each time.

One of my turrets killed a mad animal and a Red Error showed up. Not sure why it doesn't like it when I kill animals.
