*Germany's state religion not changing to Eastern religions; triggers the Emperor of China in Name political disaster from Europa Universalis IV
Completely off-topic but there's always been something so endearing about that flag. I really like it but I really can't tell why. It breaks most of my personal rules about flags, but it still manages to look dope as fuck.

It was used by Yuan Shikai for his (failed) attempt at restoring the monarchy in China after the downfall of the Qing.
this
is
epic.
Actually the flag is still a point in dispute. German China will not use Beiyang five-color flag(its the meaning of republicanism), so I can only select the flag between Qing and Empire of China. Now Ive not decided which to choose in the top left hand corner and welcome everyone to deliver his opinion.
German China is called Deutsch-China in German. German rule in China is much different from British Raj for India is a divided land with princes and native languages while China is not(China is a long-united country for centries and there are kinds of Mandarin but all belong to Chinese), so they can form a tight colonial government instead of a colony with various local autonomies(warlords are seen as separatist forces).
Alternatively what might be interesting would be if Germany decided to declare a new dynasty with a new name similar to how past dynasties were named. An idea I had were to combine the Chinese Characters of Xuè tiě which Google Translate says it means "Blood" and "Iron" respectively, which would be Germany making a nod to Bismark with their dynasty. Unfortuatnly I don't know much about Chinese so I don't have many more ideas to help with this name, all I could really say is maybe call it the Xuetie dynasty.
Finally the flag - I'm not sure the old Qing flag works so great, so despite its use as a republican flag, the 5 color flag might fit the best for china, or alternatively one of the varients - maybe this one https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Yuan_Flag_(Propose).svg
