Regarding the resolution I'm afraid this is next to impossible. First of all this was done 100% from scratch, I rendered all the assets in FullHD because back then it was quite a huge effort to render everything in 4k.

But the main reason why I cannot do this is the Wallpaper Engine editor. This wallpaper is pretty old and a few years back there was a huge Wallpaper Engine update that affects all the effects that were added before the update. Meaning that all the settings for the old effects will reset when I change a single value. I would never be able to make the wallpaper look like this again with all the effects set to the standard values.

TLDR: the knowledge and the render technique is ready, the engine not.

Howdy! Thank you for your work! I have been using this wallpaper for 3-4 years and i still think that this one is the best! But I have a request, can you please increase the resolution of this wallpaper or this option is impossible?

With the next Wallpaper Engine update there will be an option for the user to change textures inside a wallpaper, in this case meaning that you could change the TV program and add your own image or video. Thinking about implementing that into this wallpaper because I like the idea.

You can always go and create your own YouTube playlist, I guess all the tracks are available on YouTube (like everything is always available on YouTube ). The track names are in the description.

Hands down the definitive Wallpaper. Not just the insanely good music selection, but the ambience and how comforting it all looks. My only complaints are that there should be some kind of playlist on youtube of the music used, and that you deserve more attention and renown for this work of art.

I guess I know what you mean. Browsing the workshop today mostly gives you the same stuff over and over again: some blinking eyes, some wiggling arms, legs, boobs, etc. thanks to puppet warp in WPE. Most of the workshop content just look the same, only the background picture changes. It's ok for people who are not into graphics stuff but I want my wallpapers to look different.

Sadly that´s not possible. Even if WE has the possibility to upload custom animations into wallpapers you still have to fiddle with image sequences to get your own animation onto the tv screen. I guess that´s a bit too much for the normal user that just wants to watch some wallpapers.

What i can offer you is to setup a customization for the tv screen so that you can just "turn off" the screen if you find it a bit repetitive.

Sorry to hear that. Maybe you are using a graphics card with not enough VRAM? This wallpaper is pretty huge and i couldn´t test it on smaller cards because all the cards i have access to have at least 3 gig video ram.

May i ask what kind of card you are using?

For me, it just crashes Wallpaper Engine

@marionette6434: i checked all the links and found not a single one that´s not working. Don´t know exactly why these are not working for you. Maybe your internet went nuts for a short time.

I´m afraid that is not possible in a 2D scene wallpaper. It would be a huge pain in the ass anyway because you have to use the gif format for everything that is animated in scene wallpapers. That alone would drive most user totally insane because messing with the gif format is pure madness sometimes.

Sadly what you want to achieve is simply not doable at the moment with wallpaper engine.

You are right, that´s because all animated stuff in scene wallpapers are GIFs and there is a 500 frames limit. So i choose to use 25 fps in my gifs, so i can show animations that are at least 20 seconds long instead of 8 seconds when using 60 fps.

Look at the fan at 30 fps. 60 is alright.

Mmmh...i use it all the time with 60 fps....doesn´t look bad to me in any way with that framerate. Don´t know exactly what you mean.

It's nice at 144 fps, but the movements look kind of bad on lower framerates.

There is nearly one hour of music in this wallpaper that is set to shuffle all across the playlist. I cannot say which song you heard when using the wallpaper. Sorry. :-/
