Those concepts look quite wonderful actually. Was it a problem with the polygon limit that forced you to cut back. From what I understand after having many similar discussions, that seems to be main reason why workshop artists have to compromise their vision.

@Dr Vapor - you could tell same about rest workshop :) Loadingscreens are always better than actual sets, because non of sets made from loadings, they made from concept art and LS is just promo illustration where you could fix and draw everything. Loading screen? Gorgeous work. Perfect for a portfolio. The model? Not so much. Seems like something was last in the transition from the design stages to the actual finished project, and it suffers a lot as a result.
