Where can I find the mentioned config download?

"I strongly urge you to go through the "Mod Settings" in-game and change them to your preferences before playing.
I have included my personal settings preferences in the Configs download if you do not want to make your own.
Put the config folder in: "C:\Users\user_name\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios""

thats a pretty good answer anyway, for it was meant for royalty
Dr Zhivago  [author] Jan 2, 2021 @ 5:06pm
No clue, don't have Royalty
Captain Jan 2, 2021 @ 4:17pm
is this best played with our without Royalty?

I forgot people do that. I don't currently have the collection installed so I can't grab ya one. I also don't really want to update the config every time I change the mod list... Have you considered making your own personal collections so you can do mass subs/unsubs?

Another idea is when using RimPy, you can save mod lists. This means you can:
Unsub to all mods in collection.
Save a load list with all your mods.
Subscribe to all mods in collection.
Load the saved load list.

This will leave all the collection mods in the inactive column. Effectively separating the collection from the rest of your mods.

New version
Call Me Asparagus Oct 15, 2020 @ 11:37pm
Just tested it, I was able to create a colony, so it seems to be working still, though no extensive testing.
Dr Zhivago  [author] Oct 15, 2020 @ 11:28pm
I doubt it, but the one I linked below 100% works.
Call Me Asparagus Oct 15, 2020 @ 11:19pm
Does the current mod collection here work?
Dr Zhivago  [author] Oct 15, 2020 @ 10:59pm
No ETA. Need to update DocWorld and VAOR. Not sure which approach I'll take for VAOR, might look into a collab or something with VFME
Call Me Asparagus Oct 15, 2020 @ 10:57pm
Got it, thanks anyway. Any ETA on when you'll get the colection upload?
Dr Zhivago  [author] Oct 15, 2020 @ 6:57pm
Until I get this collection updated, it's just one-by-one on that link
Call Me Asparagus Oct 15, 2020 @ 2:26pm
Hey, thanks man! Is there a way to download those mods in bulk, or do I have to download them one-by-one?
Dr Zhivago  [author] Oct 15, 2020 @ 11:50am
Haha yea... I've been waiting a bit for RimPy, to get updated for mod collections but that probably won't happen soon. I guess "next week" became months later. It will happen, but it's not a top priority.

Here's my current list I used for a Viking playthrough. Just remove the spaces.

Hey, this seems like a great mod pack, are You planning on updating it to 1.2?
Dr Zhivago  [author] Jul 3, 2020 @ 8:48pm
I've just set up a new mod list this week and I'm testing it out. If all goes well I'll probably update this collection next week.
123nick Jul 3, 2020 @ 10:47am
are your mods updated yet? is progress still continuing? i dont mean too be impatient but im impatient lol sorry
Dr Zhivago  [author] May 12, 2020 @ 3:11pm
Daunting isn't it? It'll be a project I work on after finally getting my mods updated. So it'll probably be a while.
123nick May 10, 2020 @ 3:29pm
any updates on how the update too 1.1 is coming along? i wanna play 1.1, but hte idea of assembling a massive modpack myself is daunting.
Dr Zhivago  [author] Feb 21, 2020 @ 3:42pm
@everyone ; Unfortunately 1.1 is going to break this collection. If you plan to use it in 1.0 you need to make local copies of these mods ASAP. I will probably not be updating this collection to 1.1 for some time. I apologize for the down-time that will occur, but the simplest way for me to update this will be to wait and see how the mods handle 1.1, which mods are obsolete, and which newer mods will be added. 1.0 and 1.1 are meant to be cross-compatible, but 1.1 will break mods using C#.

thanks

There's generally a large misconception that load order matters a lot. It doesn't.
All that really matters are three things:
1) Mods are not designed with poor integrity to begin with.
2) Mods are not loaded with conflicting mods.
3) Mods are loaded beneath their dependencies.

As long as these three rules are followed (the first one relying on the mod author), you can load a mod anywhere in your load order.

I would probably load it by the Android mods or put them in their place if you remove Androids. I can't give you a rule for each race, as I don't know their dependencies.
Quin Feb 19, 2020 @ 2:36pm
Thank you for making this. Heavily modding Rimworld can be a major pain sometimes and having such a comprehensive list already sorted and put together is easymode.
A question though: If one were to add a HAR2.0 compatible race mod to this, about what area in the sorting should it go? Would that change if it added techs and furniture?
Dr Zhivago  [author] Feb 1, 2020 @ 9:46pm
Check out my other collection: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1985947759

If you want a collection that is strictly about Vanilla combat and enhancing/changing it. Mods included in that collection will probably also be in this collection.
Dr Zhivago  [author] Oct 17, 2019 @ 11:53pm
It's not my most updated list, but if you use the modsconfig that is linked, and follow the few suggestions, you shouldn't have a problem!
ParaScuba Oct 17, 2019 @ 8:20pm
**PRAYING** for not all those many mods cause game screw up
