The problem was caused by Some More Jobs, now that I've removed that it seems to work fine again.

This doesn't seem to be working for me in 1.5 right now - deconstructing gets done last. No idea what's causing it yet, but I'll comment again if I figure it out.

Yo, thank you for having this 1.5 ready! I thought how vanilla functioned was stupid. The deconstruction is stopping me from building further, so why not conquer that first?? Cheers!:spiffo:

Sorry for the late update.... I updated it to work on 1.4.
It should work on Biotech aswell, but i dont have the dlc yet to test it. So please gimme a shoutout if it works in BIotech DLC aswell.

I dont do this normaly but i need this mod my builder does everything but deconstruct and the repair is slower than even that

Oh, where is the location of the priorities?

What would be nice, is a priority mod that exposes all priorities and has settings for them in Mod Settings so you would only ever have to adjust them once...

I would love to be able to do that, but I think you have to program for it.

I really like this mod, I just wish repairing didn't come first. I'd personally prefer deconstructing, constructing, and then repairing.

Found a bug. I was using this in my current game and i noticed that my builders were not getting experience for building anything, only deconstructing. I removed this mod and they started gaining xp again. Might be mod conflict but thought you should know.

i always like this priority over the current one : deconstruct>repair>construct

i think deconstruct should be prioritized over repair, coz sometimes pawns will repair damaged walls that you already intended to deconstruct anyway.

@Jova hey man i really apprecite your comment but the bug your stating doesn´t occur to me. And it was really wondering me when I first read about it because it just cant be true.

Just for clarification: My Mod only changes the values tweaks concerning the CONSTRUCTION Work type.
It does not interfer with the "<priorityInType>XX</priorityInType>" value for MINING.
Since the Work type Priority like 3 or 2 are some sort of hard coded ( always override the "<priorityInType> " value ) the bug you are having must have some other reasons.

possible reasons for it but theese are just my guesses :

You mixed up the colonist set to 2/3 in Mining / Construction
Colonist is incabable of Mining,
Colonist Cant reach the AREA they´re suppose to Mine at at all,
You mixed up the numbers,
The Field u wanted to Mine cannot be reached by the colonist at all ( e.g. make sure ur colonist have a straight path towards the area you want to mine ),
Other MODs interferring,

Pawns now properly repair Objects before deconstructing/constructing things. That has also been bothering me since I published this mod and i figured I could just fix it. Have fun :D thanks for the hint tho

Love the mod, but it seems to deprioritize repairing too much. I had some damaged buildings go several days without repairs, with plenty of construction people available and no non-repair jobs marked. When I removed the mod, they auto-repaired these things.

@FxVIL Well my mod does not remove mountain roof.
IMO it is build into the game for a reason and mods allowing you to deconstruct mountain roofs are kinda OP. But sure I did it before removing a tiny spot of mountain roof via the dev console. I’m not Jesus after all

@Fozzy well, i guess The Iron Angel used some mod in the previous version that do all that ( removing roof before deconstructing wall or mine ) & i have used it too. But this is already making the game a lot easier :). Keep up the good work :steamhappy:

@ the iron angel im not quite sure what ur asking for. Well it deconstructs the wall if it has a roof on this segment, it will deconstruct even if the wall has a roof on it, causing it to fall. That is why one should order to remove roofs first.
Yea well using this mod requires you to order your colonist to remove a roof, it wont happend just cause u deconstruct, lets say the last piece of a wall holding the roof.
But in any giving playthrough and im using this "mod" like a very long time it rarly happend that a
roof collapsed.
Although removing roof is a prioritised over deconstruct. Meaning If u order ur colonist to remove a roof, they will do so before they will ever think of deconstructing the wall / building new stuff - but you have to order them to do so, the game won´t use common sense as we all know.
