I think this mod removed the menace below and doomrocket indicator, no longer any indication showing where the menace below rats are going to pop out of. also nearly lost a siege since i had no idea where a doom rocket was about to strike

I know its not compatible but I would love mod like this for sfo they wen't full autism with visual effects, there are moments when all I can see are buff,debuff and spells made me quit the mod for some time

This mod causes a bug with SFO. The "Strength of the Penitent" ability flagellants have buffs their melee defence by 15 and phys resistance by 20%. But this mod seems to cause this ability to endlessly stack, granting every unit with this ability melee defence in the hundreds (up to 500) as the battle rages. Volkmar's army has become a real slog.

This is by far my favorite vfx remover mod. It removed some of the more annoying effects in battle and still maintains that fantasy feel and look of warhammer world.

@shinobus This mod seems to not like my save games. Crashes every time as it is loading. Try a new game. I placed it right above the SFO mod in my list.

Better put this way. Please if I want just the "aura" removal vfx what should I delete from the mod? I don't want changes on spells etcs.

Hello, Ourg. I would like to borrow part of your mod for my private mod, because they are in conflict (both edit spell tables). Do I understand correctly that VFX part of the mod is solely responsible for less visual flare (light wells on lords, dust specks on banners of hexed units, scaven retreat spirals and so on) and all the other parts of the mod (DB) deal with glowing targetting rings during wind up and during active phase?

I ended up using light of battle spell display as a substitute, think follows in line with rest of your mod well.

adding entry to special_ability_phases_tables for blessing into mod, and removing the phase display there got rid of ugly orange stain for me, if was just an oversight on your mod think all needs doing.

Interesting too, maybe just to me lol, but the display effect they had in there was literally titled "curse of befallen" or something when ability is a strong buff effect. Wonder if I just found a vanilla bug lol

Just doing some testing after noticed something in custom battle. Only this mod active, Loec's Blessing a WE commander ability on spellweaver, not a spell, has a real ugly looking orange, almost debuff vfx to it

To be 100% sure you need to check the tables by yourself.

But, mainly, if you have a mod that modify spell you can have some conflict. It won't break the game but some effect will show or the modification from the other mod won't work depend on le loading priority

I have no idea if any mods I use conflict? How to tell? Will this break the game or make changes that screw things up?

Thank you, I noticed later. I eventually had to start RPFM and delete some of the tables from your mod to make it compatible. This mod has been key for enjoying the game for so long, I was just a bit frustrated when I realised that it had compatibility issues.

One thing however, is that there are some auras that are included (ex. tomb kings my will be done) which have no graphics attached, so if they were removed the tables would be more compatible.

I really appreciate all the work you put in this mod, it vastly improves the feel of the game. Can't possibly play without it now.

WARNING.
This includes unnecessary tables that conflict with stat altering mods, I can't run this with the khalida aura edit. Spend two hours debugging each mod, only to find out this mod was the culprit... a graphic mod!! This in movie format, so it will ovewrite ALL your other mods that touch spell/abiltiy tables.
Please remove the spell/ability tables, this is a great mod and it is a pity that it will ovewrite everything else.

I do not use the unit banners that showcase the type of units, if that is what you mean, but the sparks are still visible.

Does this mod remove, or could you include in it (make a separate mod for) those annoying sparks that fly above vampire coast gun units? I like having this game as cinematic as possible, without regualr unit banners and annoying hero light beams, so having mini firework above the vampire coast units has been extremely annoying for me.

Damn, that's a shame. Everytime I use 'K' the silly golden balls are always hovering above vampire coast units.

this is a bug from the game. Sometime when using the cinematic view with k the effect stay as it would normaly be removed. It's also the case for others banner effect
