I'd love to use this on my Odyssey ship and right now, as it stands, if I want the ship to be rotatable, I would need to disassemble the beehives before launching.
My Make Honey Even More Compatible Mod fixes that! Download that, and you can burn other beeswax in the candles!
I made a sub-Mod expanding the bee amounts greatly. I was unaware that the Medieval Overhaul Mod added more than just one or two types of bees, and will quickly look into whether or not something can be made for them.

I also have a Mod that lets you use other Mods' types of honey for this Mod's constructs.

Something similar to the Sweets meme from, I forget if that was Vanilla expanded Memes or Alpha Memes. Only focused on honey and stuff?
In real life, beehives can live in places like northern Canada and Siberia, through Russian winters (the famous Volga beekeepers dominated medieval honey trades), because beehives are insulated and so densely populated that bees' bodies generate enough warmth to keep a hive toasty and comfortable for the bees. That is why, before the glitch, even the plain, normal beehive kept bees from dying in the winter. This is extremely realistic.
Ever wondered why bees make so much honey that even if a beekeeper takes most of it, the bees still thrive?
That's why. Bees die in cold, so they need to have enough honey to feed every single one of them for the entire winter. There is a surplus so great that humans can harvest it too.
The crazy part is that, in RL, bees naturally keep hives about ninety degrees at all times because wax actually SEALS and INSULATES.
All beehouses should now protect bees against temperature extremes.
As if you did not have enough to do.
In V1.5, even the normal Beehouses, which went inactive during cold weather, didn't cause the bees to die. In real life, beehives are really warm and bees don't die over the winter because it's so warm inside a beehive.
This is a critical and angering mistake that completely leveled my most recent saved game, with all the bees dying at once.
It doesn't have to crash to generate a log, infact, it generates a log CONSTANTLY. You can see it if you activate debug mode, press the button at the top of the screen that opens the log, unpause your game, and let it run. You'll see it generate in real time.
Don't know what to tell you my duder. Only running Alpha mods and Vanilla Expanded mods. I'll see if I can grab a video for you later :)
Also on a separate note, thanks for the link to the patreon, I subbed for a bit. I've been enjoying yours and Oskar's mods for a long time and my game would be much worse if not for you guys. Keep up the great work, lots of love from Canada.
A pet?
Actually, that's a different mod.
