v1.5.5
- Add a new surgery "cure acid burn" (+scars).
Thanks to Eversor for reporting this issue.
v1.5.4
- Added icons to the surgery menu.
v1.5.3
- Fixed all language translations for 1.5.
- Biotech DLC "lung rot" cure has been moved to a separate DLC folder.
Thanks to @pikatyu-1000000 for reporting this issue.
With this update, mod have made major changes to the folder structure.
I recommend resubscribing to the mod to avoid problems. If you experience problems after updating, please try resubscribing to the mod first. I apologize for the inconvenience.
I will answer the question.
If you are using RBSE Hardcore Edition , please use DE Surgeries for RBSE only or DE Surgeries for RBSE only Color instead of here version.
When using RBSE, most of the surgery gives priority to the RBSE side, so "DE Surgeries for RBSE" only supports the part that is not in RBSE. Thank you.
v1.5.2
- Added surgeries support for Anomaly DLC race "creep joiner".
- Moved mod animal (Vanilla Animals Expanded series or Alpha Animals etc.) compatibility patches to separate DE Surgeries - Mod Animals patch .
Currently only Core animals are supported.
v1.5.1
- Added new Anomaly DLC surgeries to Rimworld.
1 chronic surgeries (Anomaly):
Bliss Lobotomy.
5 injury surgeries (Anomaly):
Digested, EnergyBolt, Psychic Burn, Psychic Burn (Skin), Psychic Burn (Solid).
Note: For Digested injuries, the usual treatment is given priority, so click directly on the patient and select the surgury from the click menu.
v1.5.0
- Update tags for Rimworld 1.5.x.
It is possible to make it harder. However, I think it's better for each individual to create those Very HARD patches that user think are appropriate, considering whether to test for an appropriate difficulty level or to continue to support Rim's version even if it goes up.
I welcome anyone creating a Sub-Mod that changes their difficulty.
Just give the right medicine. It's not surgery. In the game, It just need to be cureed by a doctor. If you want to personally refuse the healing action, please use Cherry Picker (dev) to disable the cure of the disease.
Thank you for your suggestion. I will consider it immediately.
I reverted the version. Thank you for your comment.
- reverted version 1.4.0
I confirmed that there was no problem, so I will send it back. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The reason is that Cyber Fauna has the same function to treat animal diseases, with DE Surgeries (HARD). This is because I wanted to avoid having the same surgery menus lined up.
v1.4.1
- Added incompatibility with Cyber Fauna .
v1.4.0
- Update RimWorld 1.4.3510 (unstable).
- Added 2 new Surgeries, "cure chemical damage" and "cure severe chemical damage".
- Added a new surgery, "cure lung rot (1.4)".
Adjustment:
- Increased the medicine required for nose, eye, ear and finger cosmetic surgery from 2 to 10.
You're welcome!
thank you youre a legend! <3
There is a Mod called A Dog Said... Animal Prosthetics that can treat animals. The mod includes the following treatments: burn, crush, crack, cut, surgical cut, scratch, bite, stab, gunshot, shredded, bruise.
I think this will probably cover everything except the treatment of body parts (such as the brain) that cannot be replaced with artificial limbs.
The surgery difficulty may not be in hard mode, but if you haven't subscribed yet, be sure to subscribe to "A dog said".
Any chance it could also include features to apply to Animals?
There is no animal surgery mod that allows to cure scars / wounds like this mod does to colonists.
all other animal surgeries are just implants, and not cure for scars that in rimworld they'd probably have the tech for it :)
It's technically possible to add those treatments, but I don't want to compete with other mods for their functionality. Please forgive me.
Thanks to DarknessEyes for creating the original mod. The "DE Surgeries" series does not include those surgeries or treatments.
This is because RimWorld has artificial organs, etc., and it is thought that "surgery" that can ignore them will destroy the atmosphere of the game. There are other mods that are very good at them (such as EPOE or RBSE etc). There are also some transfusion mods for bleeding.
This "DE Surgeries" series is designed to co-exist with those mods (including "A Dog said...").
For these reasons, this mod does not include blood transfusions and direct treatment of the brain or artificial/natural organs, and will not be added in the future. I hope you enjoy RimWorld. Thank you.
I don't want to see "Surgeon Simulator 2" in RimWorld. Haha.
Hard mod allows cure more easily. ><
First, the fingers and toes are not cured by vanilla or other prosthetic mods.
Second, vanilla marine armor does not protect the fingers and toes. For this reason, it is very likely that pawns will lose their fingers in battle and you will need to use "healer mech serum" to cure them in vanilla.
The concept of this mod is that it can be cured more easily than those, and that treatment is within the range of common sense.
It's "easier" than other treatments, and it's possible to repair lost areas for the first reason mentioned above.
If reproduced harder, the conditions would be too strict and probably no one would use the surgery (surgery mistakes will not kill you, but the requirements will be horribly expensive).
For these reasons, in HARD mode is a "easier" condition than others. Thank you, and Have a good New Year.
There is no difference between an injury and an old scar inside the game, both have the same defName.
Therefore, even if the name and surgery cost are different, the result will be the same. It is up to the user to abuse the surgery menu.
For example, just because you can annihilate an enemy in developer mode is no different than playing with GOD mode on.
v1.3.3
- Fixed cure muscle parasites.
- Fixed DE_Hyperlinks_patches.xml
v1.3.2
- Added VAE animals patch.
v1.3.1
- Added patch for add this mod's surgery hyperlinks in any hediff descriptions.
v1.3.0
- Update for 1.3 Preview beta
v1.3.1
- Fixed preview img.
Your wellcome.
I just checked the contents a little. Apparently, I confirmed that the function to heal the injury was added independently.
Probably no fatal mod conflicts will occur, but the surgery menu will be duplicated and may hinder play.
For now, I'm EPOE-forked, I don't think it's necessary to make any adjustments specifically for Forked. This is because EPOE-Forked seems to have already added a surgical menu that is not possible with EPOE.
Of course, there may be things that can not be done in detail, but please tell those requests to the mod author of EPOE-Forked, not to me. Thank you.
Unfortunately I have not confirmed the compatibility of this mod with EPOE-Forked.
The new features added in EPOE-Forked have a different concept from EPOE, so the added surgery content is different from EPOE.
This mod has been confirmed to be compatible with EPOE and RBSE, and there is "DE Surgeries for RBSE only" for RBSE.
v1.2.3
Difficulty of Surgery is adjustmented:
- Difficulty of "cure cataract" is change to normal.
Balance adjustment of surgery costs:
- "repair sternum" cost reduced from plastic x30 to x15
- Fixed related translations.
