Loving the models here. Have reused many in my own mods.

Quick point - the Bastion model. I'm not sure the Naval_Carrier03P_AttackBPortLeft.gr2 model works correctly.

I am reworking the attack animations, but when attacking from the left, the model will line up correctly, facing port-side to the target, then the right side guns fire.

All the animations are set up correctly.

So, for some reason, even when events 2100, 2160, and 2180 are called for, the model seems to use one of the StarBord side attacks (1100, 1160, 1180).

Still, these are beautiful!

For everyone compaining about the mod being updated... stop relying on other other people, use modbuddy, and apply yourself!

This 'mod' is an incredible resource for applying the assets provided to your own work.

This is my favorite future mod, but it causes some units to not animate, hopefully it will continue to be updated.

I don't know if it's intentional or not but you forgot to add the melee naval units and the submarines... it would be great to have those. Thanks anyway for the great mod

that's okay! this is an amazing mod. my friend actually managed to find an old version and i hope it's okay but we're going to use a couple of the beyond earth units (like 5 or so?) and make our own era!

if you don't want us to, that's fine. we will 100% credit you in the description of the mod for your hard work.

@prarie02 that is indeed a nice concept, however, as I said in the comment below I suck at LUA, but maybe I will release the mod files below so someone can take over.

@DSiren once I get the hang of LUA script programming I would love to do that. I halted the project because at the time the techs were supposed to cut your population in half or two thirds, and to do that you need to make the script in LUA. Unfortunately I tried to code something up (I only work how to code in Java/ C) and it didn't work. Would gladly update this if someone were to give a helping hand!

are you supposed to be able to choose all the affinities? I just assumed that once you picked one you were locked into that the same as choosing ideologies, when I played I was able to access all of them. I like the mod, hope you continue to progress with it.

So I use the manual download as it does not work through steam for me, and I found out that sabr_attacka.gr2 does not decompress.

Awesome! When do you think the hybrid affinities might get put in? I'm wanting to start a project (a story based off of a civ playthrough) and I'd love for the hybrid units to be in the playthrough.

@Arya that is a special building in BE that is the "ultimate Harmony building". Since I'm not going to implement buildings and improvements just yet, think of it as a piece of hidden lore.

@Rabid Mongoose I dunno about that. It may be compatible. The thing is Vox Populi is a bit large and complex, and so the compatibility implementation would take some time... Gotta see it after some other things are done.

@doggie0503 Yet have you tried the link in the description? Unfortunately many mods recently are having this Workshop issue. Just try the manual installation link provided below.

@Ramadhan Suami Somi I mean, that kinda defeats the purpose of this mod. I thought of doing that both games have so distinct systems... Furthermore BE doesn't have CIV specific units, it's all from affinity progress. This mod tries to give you that choice, aswell: Eash affinity has it's own bonus per unit and consumes different kinds of resources.

Could you please remove the affinities altogether and assign the models to specific civs instead? (e.g. Supremacy models only available for Japan, USA, etc while Harmony models are available to only Arabia, Rome, etc)? As for the unit icons, I might be able to help you with that, just contact me if you want me to help. I'll also help come up with new unit names.

I prefer this to some of the other mods because I hate how the AI civs will spam a singular ugly-looking feature improvement in Future Worlds. Thanks for making this.

@kkeday I thought about it when I can unpacking the models. But the game mechanics are just too complicated... unless... (idea time: so I could add the satellites as air units so they could be immobile and could be stationed in cities... uhm, gotta see that.)

@Crimson_Nomad That was what I wanted to do from the start. The thing is, when I did that, the plasma beams from the xcom did not appear. I suspect that since the xcom is a dlc unit, it's effects cannot be found in the main effect list and as such, cannot be implemented into other mods without the files being outright copied to the mod itself.

@Sthalor For now, yeah, but I plan on adding some of the buildings and/or Improvements. (My only issue with the buildings is that some of them do not fit into the gameplay (e.g. the emancipation gate, etc.)).

@The 420th Gunslinger That's the plan, it is supposed to be the transition between both. As for the bugs:
I now know how to fix the tech textures, just waiting to write some lua script for the techs effects. The purity ship thing I found out it's really a model problem and it's a firaxis' issue that simply cannot be resolved (alas the unit still fully works besides that, the sounds, the moving anims and effects are all there).
The explorer issue I do not know what's causing it but I suspect it is due to the model being a normal foot soldier and a wheeled rover. The issue is that I only have the model for one (just says explorer) and cannot find the other one. Might be solved in the future
The Missiles in the rover I kinda find it fun how they are now but it is a bone problem and related to the model itself.

To Everyone having problems with this not showing up, that was a problem with ModBuddy and I do not know how to fix it, since steam does not allow me to upload the folder manually. Simply get the direct link.

@DJ Spicy Deluxe Yeah, so apparently the bigger res pictures for the techs (the ones that appear when you are currently researching them) show up, so it means that I need to create a new ATLAS file with smaller res for the other instances.

@NightRaven Ok, no problem, I understand that! Just make sure that you try the direct link if you still want the mod.

This sounds really good but only if you fix those issues. It sounds to me like this mod is the transition from this game to Beyond Earth. but im not even gunna try it till you fix it.
