Thank you for creating this mod, I have a lot of trouble seeing the different colors on the soil tile overlay (both rich and stony soil look the same color to me) and this mod helps sooo much. I will patiently wait for an update, just wanted mention how much it helps.

This is a wonderful mod, and not to be an obnoxious stranger on the internet, but I have an idea for a small addition to it: Adding the by terrain selection to allowed area and snow clearing zones.

One thing that's always bothered me, specifically during a game winter, is that clear snow zones are tedious to do, particularly mid winter, when it comes to paths and roads you've put down. Could also interact well with the cleaning area mod, cause that's based off of creating a custom zone to assign to the cleaning, be neat to be able to select only paths and stuff you've put down instead of the whole outer area.

That's my amateur design idea anyways. Thanks for the great mod.

Huh, interesting problem. let me try playing with trees and cutting and see if it makes sense as a new mod idea or a modifier to something like this one.

Very pleased to see this updated - there are some real problems with the way the No Cutting feature is handled with Ideology's No Tree Cutting precept, not exactly the domain of your mod but you are probably the most qualified modder to address it.
- When No Cutting is set for the grow zone, pawns will still cut down mature trees, provoking the unhappy thought
- Pawns will also cut trees adjacent to the zone when planting on tiles sharing an edge with a tree tile (this may be because the vanilla tree def specifies stuff can't be planted adjacent to it)
- In biomes like bog or tropical rainforest, it's a giant pain to clear out the grass and bushes and scrub without cutting trees down, although it's pretty good about not harming immature trees. it would be nice if there was an alternate "No TREE cutting" setting for grow zones that worked more usefully

heya! i have a question: do you still add features to the mod?

I would like to be ablet to restrict my animals from eating from some of my growing zones which currently have maximal efficiency due to this mod(aka all terrain selected)
however, the weird shapes make for problematic animal zone controll, and I'm (too autistic to allow for ahem i mean) unhappy with werd looking animal zones. so, would it maybe be possible to maybe make a mod to substract/add zones to other zones or select allow zones by terrain too?

Long time user of this mod, just wanna thank you for making it. I regard this mod as a quality-of-life necessity, and I find it very odd that this isn't a feature in the base game.

Apologies for the confusion with making and then deleting the 1.1 mod file. This was the first one I converted and it wasn't apparent that I could now update the mods in-place and that Harmony / HugsLib have to be provided as mod dependencies via in-game mechanism to work with other mods.

So at first I didn't see that they added better support for multiple versions in one mod. I've updated this one for 1.1 while keeping 1.0 support. I'll be deleting the new mod as it also has a dependency conflict with Harmony the way I updated that file.
