Awkward as fuck abilities, his basic attack draws him forward, yet is not avaliable in position 1 lol, also he has no way to return to position 2 from 1 if there is only a single enemy. Terrible ability design, 4\10 Also. Marks? Why the fuck?

Hi, first of all, love the mod. Thank you for making it. I'm confused about the riposte skill. The skill description states that it debuffs riposte by -20%, but in the shadow_walker.info file it says -40%. Is it -60% altogether? how does this work?

Came across the "Stolen Riftwatcher Poison" trinket, was that a hidden spawn checking for both a Warrens mission and Riftwatcher being installed?

UPDATE May 2020: Modified Skill! Pressure Point Now Has Chance to Blind (1-3 rds) which lowers accuracy. Higher skill level increases chance for longer Blindness. Recovering from Blindness adds a speed penalty. This will also be a new status in Pet Cemetery!

Hey dem, I really love the class and I don't want to uninstall it since I'm kind of used to him (and his design is also cool with the MK stuff, props to the skin maker). I know he is supposed to get stronger when he levels up, some of his skills get better positioning etc. but he still is easily replaceable...
My question is, are you looking to change/balance him a little bit, he's way too weak? Because I was thinking of making some balance on him myself (for my personal campaigns), but don't wanna touch him if there's something planned soon

I love Shadow Walker, but using the Kuji-Kiri skill, that broken arm seen in the skill's animation, is a bit unsettling. Could it be fixed in some way?

The "Blood Boil" skill is bugged, when upgrated to level 5 it loses its bleed dot.

he is weak most of the time, maybe a good stuner for if leveled 5.( still too replacable )

however, he is absurdly strong if he only team up with other shadow walkers or fight alone.
you can just spam shuricans untill there is 1 enemy left on lower levels or spam shurikens to or enemy dead with fifth levels skill ( need some accuracy quirks or trinkets though ) or your team will be stealth all the time and as most monsters can't bypass stealth, its invincible

probably buff some of his damage and nerf shurikens to be only entering stealth of not stealthed

Camp skills are alright. 2 good ones and 2 bad ones.
Dark medication is pretty good.
Guerilla Warfare is great, especially if you can clear the debuff with herbs (mainly for the scouting chance which is crucial in low light).
Sabotage is too niche for its cost.
And Assassination is even more niche for even bigger cost (mark synergy with what mark? the 40% one? + spiders are not the most common and particularly tank enemy without specific mods).

I hope you will continue working on this dude, cause I'm definitely staying subscribed.

Shadow slide - basically just another quirky stealth, like shurikens. 1% virtue might as well be just text, nobody will even notice. Move skill chance is only useful for 1 other skill and heal is both low and extremely unreliable. Just remove virtue chance and make it a guaranteed low heal in case someone's on death door. Plus, if you use it in rank 2 you will go to rank 4 where you can only use 1 skill (blood boil) and you probably didn't equip it cause it's useless.

None of his attacks can directly target rank 4, which is the most valuable target most of the time. This is super dangerous and strange, since he's not even a frontliner.

"Some of his skills grow in reach, duration, or starting location with practice." - this is a very cool feature and I'm curious to see how it plays out, but since I normally play with 0 torch - his starting form is just screaming "party wipe" and I doubt he will survive to level up enough.

Blood Boil is super weak, especially for the only skill usable from rank 4. Limited uses and RANDOM TARGET? For a skill that deals only 2/2 damage in bleed and a minor debuff? It doesn't even synergise with stealth, c'mon. It does have good accuracy though, so it will never miss the enemy corpse. Remove random target and maybe up the bleed to make it usable.

Pressure point- basically a prot debuff with shitty accuracy. With such low damage there is no reason to not make it a 100% Mark, especially since Marks are super weak anyway. Oh, and 12% stealth chance? Too low, might as well remove it.

Kuji-kiri - his best skill imo. Situational damage is a nice touch and ripostes are pretty strong. Maybe should lower accuracy from 100 to 95 though, otherwise - I'm pretty happy.

This class is pretty interesting. His stats are good except for some resists. Treasure hunting is also nice. And overall I recognise the massive amount of effort you've put into this guy. But there are some significant negatives too.

His skills are pretty awkward.

Ken-Jutsu - No idea why it doesn't work from rank 1, considering you only target frontliners. Unnecessary restriction.

Shurikens - The blight is too weak for its level. Resist debuff is negligible. Move buff only synergises with one skill, which is kinda weak. Stealth is good, so I guess it's the primary purpose of it, but still.

His stun is alright. The dodge debuff is cool. But then it buffs your stealth AFTER destealthing you. :|

Zombie_Crow hmm, sorry about this. i am not sure what's happening i dont get any black screen errors on loading from multiple saves. sometimes you have visual verify the new version downloads (sometimes steam wait until after the game closes down the next time before doing the update: i am not sure, but this is all i can think of. i will keep looking!

Mods still bugged, gets two error screens, one about skilled toxicologist and another about a buff, tried unsubbing then re-subbing and it hasn't worked

The mod is broken at the moment. Loading your save file will give you two error screens before letting you into your game.

thanks Barart after i launch Spider Nests Phase 2 (hopefully soon) i am going to make some adjustments down for Shadow Walker, he is a little too strong! his counter will be weaker overall. spartan is more defensive in nature and shines with the right trinkets, but perhaps your idea will work, slight % damage increase. thanks for commenting.

i will take a closer look at that skill's power level soon. Vamps can be very hard, so i did want this class to be able to target vamps as a bonus for that skill. the balance between fun and overpowered can be a challenge.

Agreeing with themidnightfoundation here. Kuji Kiri is pretty insane. Riptose with a minor reduction, fantastic accuracy, + dmg mod, good crit, and bonuses agaist humans and bloodsuckers all in one? Way too good as it is, but maybe thats what you intended here.

thanks for your feedback, riposte generally doesn't hit for a lot though it can crit. you dont have to use the mathematically strongest attack each time either if you dont want, i am working on some balance tweeks however based on what i've learned working on my third class, so it might change a little. some people love using riposte and some dont and since it's only 1(2) rounds riposte you could select it everytime but its fun using his other skills also.

I appreciate all of the work that went into this character's presentation... but this is honestly just so poorly designed. The riposte attack is so stupidly powerful that there is no reason to use a different attack except the stun in certain situations; certainly you never want to substitute using the riposte attack for a stealth set up.

I really like this class-mod but i cant stand the sound from 'Kuji-Kiri (Gesture Slap)'.

Naxos yeah the hard limit is hard to determine, some people think it's based on total mod size which varies greatly, so even a small mumber of mods may hit the limit. my classes have never had conflict with Exaleus classes (i am huge fan of his!) in my testing. its frustrating about the limit, we don't know a lot and we can't do anything about it : (

Thanks again for the continued answers, I continued my investigation, it seems to have been triggered by modded classes in general, as removing the Enigma mod (which was indeed in my party with Shadow walker in the same run) Also cleared the loading screen and allowed me to continue... With my shadow walker in the party. I believe it is caused by a hard limit of modded classes in general, and might not be a direct conflict, unless maybe the crash occurs if too many modded class try to use the same base file ?

Naxos I appreciaite the time you are taking to report. i reached out to Shay about Exocist too, we aren't sure yet the problem, it sounds like both oour Mods are conflicting with the same thing in a different mod. it might be a skill with the same ID. the FMOD is just a missing sound error so i don't think it's that. again i haven't been able to replicate that, all quest missions work in my tests. i will keep looking into it!

To be more clear, I'm not specifically saying the crash is caused by the mod, but I'm trying to find what exactly causes it to happen, since it seems to happen to multiple modded classes in those specific fetch quests instances, as opposed to other quests

Thanks for getting back to me on the issue, I've also dropped a message on the Exorcist mod with the issue specifics, though I wonder if it's localized to me (in which case, it's a mod conflict/file conflict) or if someone else has the issue. I can only give you specifics : My shadow walker was level 5, trinkets were a Moon Ring, and his Book of Poem. The mission was in the Warrens, Champion difficulty, the fetch quest to get food bags. It's week 79. The only debug message that I can see being written before it occurs is "FMOD Error ! The specified bank has already been loaded !"
