would be really nice if you could do it
.. - ore deposits from 150m depth - 5%,
from 200m - 5%,
from 300m - 5%,
from 400m - 10%,
from 500m - 10%,
from 600m - 10%,
from 700m - 7.5%,
from 800m - 7.5%,
from 900m - 7.5%,
from 1000m - 7.5%,
from 1100m - 5%
from 1200m - 5%,
from 1300m - 5%
from 1400m - 5%
from 1500m - 5%,
.. - The total amount of the various ores:
- iron - 30%
- ice cream - 20%
- silicon - 15%
- nickel - 10%
- cobalt - 10%
- magnesium - 7.5%
- silver - 5%
- gold - 2.5%
.. - The ores can vary in each occurrence ..
(for example: iron-ice-gold, cobalt-silicon-nickel, silver-magnesium-silicon, iron-silver, magnesium-gold, ice-gold, ... ... ... - or even occurrences with only one Ore type ..
.. - Distribution:
- Occurrence with only one type of ore - 45%
- Deposits with 2 ore types - 30%
- Deposits with 3 ore types - 25%
.. I could pretty much imagine it for a heavier gameplay .. (:
I would be very happy if there was such a mod .. (:
lG ..
Can you also create a mod, "DeepLessOres"? (for harder survival)
..- 1/4 as many OreDeposits as in the original game ..
..- amount of ore per deposit about half as in the original game - random also less (20-30%) ..
..- OreDeposits 1-3 ore types each (deposits with one ore type 40% of all deposits, with 2 different ore types 35% of all deposits, with 3 ore types 25% of all deposits)
..- random mixed ore ..
(no uranium and no platinum on planets)
..- OreDeposits -
Depth 150m-1500m meters (every ore can occur up to a depth of 1500m)
- Iron - from a depth of 150m-1500m
- silicon from 150m-1500m
- Nickel and ice from 200m-1500m
- Cobalt from 300m-1500m
- Magnesium from 400m-1500m
- Silver from 500m-1500m
- Gold from 700m-1200m
.. - And maybe with a suitable OreDetector (range 300m - so that you can at least find something) (can be included in the mod)
.. - The ore deposits can hardly be small (20-50% of the original game)
Cobalt is 400-800m deep, so to get out of the early game I need to get an ore detector mod that changes the range to 800m? And then dig by hand 400-800m deep so I can make a cargo box?
Then later on, I need to use ore detectors with a range of 1000m+ that freeze the game to find ore?

Just in case you wanted to fix it up. Love the mod
how do i start a new world without triggering this and with the deep ores mod at new start?
Would love a fix <3
In the Uranium Version is a comment of Phoenix that it's working on Pertam. If not then feel free to contact me here again :D
After a long time i've updated all versions of my mod and the issues with the black sky on Triton should be fixed.
Furthermore i've added a FAQ which covers the most asked questions.
If you encounter any problems feel free to report them here :)

As far as I know from my tests it's the ground level. Means you dig into an Mount Everest and you could find platinum or other ores which are normally far deeper. But there is no guarantee!
Nope, but as far as I can remember there was a crossover version somewhere. Keep a look for it ;)
@Delta4Phoenix
Already wrote in my other version that I will have to put some work into my mod(s) and an update will come asap.
Look at answer 1. for Zerat_KJ above ;)
I'm not aware that it flattens world because I haven't playd it for several month now. But if anything is broken, then blame Keen. But I'll do some tests soon and add the new planet/moon to all of my versions.
@Exidrial
You answered your own question, yes you would have to change the ore generation yourself. You can look for an example at the custom planet i've modified for a server I played on.

Just look at the list above to get a clue which ore is nearby. Underneath for instance iron ore there you should find cobalt and silver nearby. Test results told me that you should find any ore in ~1-2 km range around your mining site.
@mazrados
Simple answer. No!
@Zerat_KJ
1. Best way to use is to put the mod before you start a new world. You can add it later as well but then you would have to delete and replace every planet to make sure that the mod ore generation gets used.
2. Yep, will do it. Just didn't had the time due to corona bu**sh*t.
Also, I've heard in the past updates have broken this mod in such a way that it flattens entire worlds in a game. Is there really a danger of that happening? Could something similar happen in save its being used in if i decide to remove it at some point?
Thanks for any help
