It's sad that the two Announcers that would be of my liking to obtain, This and the Dire Overlord/Spirit - both remain in limbo. I guess Valve are just too weak minded or fearful to meddle with demonic awesomeness such as this and instead simply stick to crummy, shitty hats instead.
As for criticism, I suppose that during parts where the announcer would come off as really excited or upset, he talks a wee bit quicker but still just remains calm and speaks in a low manner. A bit of gleeful laughter, angered snarling and for him to yell with enthusiasm during kills, ultrakills and whatnot would definitely be neat in my opinion.
The Dire Overlord/Spirit likes to be more humorous and break the 4th wall, these two ''evil'' themed announcer packs could further differentiate themselves if you stuck to and maximized on the sinister, in-character demon theme.
A suggestion would maybe be to perhaps include some kind of referential voicework and lines to Dota 2's Demon and Hell affiliated Heroes, helping set ''Balmodar'' up as another demon of their realm. And a new ''image'' something more Dota-like in design and style, even if this semi 3D image is pretty neat.
But yeah, I figure the more details and visual work as suggested means less for Valve to do and increasing the likelyhood of getting their attention, likewise if you could manage to tie it in better with the Dota realm and its demonic/hell related heroes both by audio and visually. That being said, if there's anything you'd recommend changing, feedback is always welcome! (while I'd be sad if Valve rejected Balmodar, having clear feedback on a rejection would be a huge help, and give the project some closure)
