I personally add -5% research time and +25% infra speed because even with this mod, and even with those bonuses, all the extra factories from war economy is better
I love the idea of having a robust strong economy when it is functioning normally and drawbacks to the economy's strength for having your citizens live in squalor with no social programs, extreme austerity, and long-ass work hours for decades.
I decided to start the game until 1945 and then check the total amount of industry.
Here is results.
With my mod in 1945:
4079 total, 2025 mils, 455 shipyards, 1599 civvies.
Without my mod in 1945:
3789 total, 1889 mils, 398 shipyards, 1502 civvies.
As we can see, my mod raises the size of the industry but not so much
Yes, maybe you are right. But I can say that most of the lags are not made by the civil industry but by the military. The reason for this is the fact that only one integer variable is used to store civilian factories in the RAM, this is amount of them in your country. It doesn’t burden a computer so much.
As for the military, I can say that they produce a huge amount of equipment, and most importantly, they produce the main lag makers - divisions.
So I don't think there will be so much more lags in the game than usual. Maybe minors will be stronger, but mostly they are trying to get war economy as soon as possible.
Don't really know what caused that problem.
Maybe my mod is incompatible with older versions.
It really doesn't make much sense that a democratic nation has to switch to military laws to build civilian industry.
Don't know if the file's name got changed one of the recent patches or something?
