This mod only changes the terrains, no trees.
So if you have installed a mod changing the trees, it shouldn't be changed.

Just click unsubscribe and veriy your game cache (right click on game in steam library, choose properties, go on local iles tab in new dialog and click verify)
No, this is not possible. But 5MB is the smallest size for a full terrain replacer you'll find in the workshop. And until now there are less than 5 subscribers having reported lag problems in MP after using a texture pack of this small size out of over 20.000 active subscribers.
So if you don't use an 'office'-pc or have a very slow internet connection, everything should be fine.
