I built a boat but it is bouncing in the water like a basket ball. How do I fix this?

Ok I tried it, and all I get is Begone, peasant! when trying to apply any of the commands. How do I fix that?

Are there any commands to stop or lower the water tides? It keeps drowning my docks to the point that it gets really annoying. Is there a list of commands that I can use?

Rope drums are a vanilla thing, not added by this mod. Unless you mean controllable drums, which are simply a way to spin things

I have noticed that turning a rope drum does not reel in the rope. Is this a know issue / is there a work-around / am I doing something wrong.

Community Edition - it's a branch of the game with lots of community-made bugfixes, and is nowadays required for many mods. Go to betas in Steam and select Community Edition.

Make sure you're on CE, you have the water mod on your world, your world is designed for the water mod, and that the tide is high enough and not below land

I played yesterday and all was well. I loaded my water world today and all the water is gone! I created another brand new world with only the water mod and there is no water on that world either. Please help us, peaceman!

Loaded a world today, and water is gone. Not sure what happened. It had water when I saved it yesterday.

/tide min -x, and /tide max -x, to lower the min and max tide levels, which lowers the overall water level

Because some mod you've added has loaded the water mod. Use "/help tide" to figure out how to lower the water level so it's out of the way

There is also a lot of other people crafts that you can check too, to find out how it is build.

I like this mod. i spent near two weeks building little villages along the waterside with really pretty views. I was having soo much fun, that I forgot about the ship building element and fishing.
I might have missed something somewhere, but is there any sort of tutorial out there on how to use these blocks? like how to build a small boat, steer the thing, and use the fishing features? i checked YT, but i'm getting more SE stuff.

I want to stress how much fun i've had so far without even touching the core elements. just water and coasts alone makes this mod worth a DL and a thumb

Sorry if this has been asked before, but: where can you find gold in the water world, if anywhere? With the wonders being gone and most of the desert submerged, not sure where any would be located.

This is the old mod, which now only contains the planet.
Older blueprints could still have this one set as dependency. Ingame the blueprints should work I think. If not you can add this mod before the modpack and it will work

It says I do not have the required resources to train an oarsmen, but I do. It is not redded out, not are any of the requirements in red.

Braking catch blocks are useful for rudders too. Use high enogh friction so it does not kick back, but not too high so that you still can rotate rudder. With controllable drums or controllable drums in combo with pulleys and/or gears.

Like he said, it's easier with a bigger boat. But if you're using the controllable drums mod, you can fine tune the power to more usable levels.

I just tried the smallest sail and my super tiny boat was not going fast at all. Try to add some weights to it. Or just make it bigger than 2 timbers :lunar2019crylaughingpig:
What is your problem with the oarsman? I just tried them and they work perfectly.
You need to add a wooden crate to your grid and add food to it. Then use the oarsman control horn to give them orders.

A boat even with only one small triangle sail makes it speeds through the water up to the shore, over land and up over a hill. ;)
Yeah, for a small boat it is op.
Also rudders, pushing on them can almost flip a ship and move it as if pushed in a gale.

Do you have anything that I can use for small boats? Even the smallest sails make the boat move like a speedboat.

It is a very bad idea to use this mod on an existing mod because the map changes.
But you can use the base mod called Water Core.
That mod won't add a different map. You will just get the water. You can also lower the water level so you only get the items the mod adds without having water.
Removing that mod won't give you any problems.

Using it with roughly 118 other mods on the Community Edition and 25km Water World and it is running fine, only issue I have is that I cannot change any of the settings...Treating me as a peasant even though I am an admin!

After enabling this mod, the autopilot block appears. Is this a bug or is it supposed to be like this? How does he feel about water? Can you split them into 2 different mods? Or this is need for ships ?
