Ox tanks, Batteries (that are lithium) and vent blocks.

I've been informed that it was Grid Integrity mod, big thanks to the person who let me know!

There was a mod that I used to have that made ships start to explode after taking a certain amount of damage. *Everything* on and in the ship would explode in a chain of explosions like ships do in films. Sadly I don't think the mod exists anymore as I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

all power blocks

I think that gravity generators should also have some kind of explosion. If a gravity generator is able to provide an entire ship with Earth-Level gravity, then there must be some power behind it.

@Splen, you should come back and update this :D

@Splen the large reactor do not seem to explode.

@Splen love the exploding jump drives and reactor's hoping for the hydro tanks to explode soon. Thanks for such a great mod that really puts danger in combat.

@Baron_Grantville Reactors dont explode, they melt. They dont use weapons grade uranium, its too unstable for reactor usage. Even then you can shoot a bar of weapons grade uranium and it will just giggle at you. SO no reactors shouldnt explode.

Is it possible that there's something weird with the volume of the explosions? I play with all my sounds around 25% and when reactors went off just now it was absolutely deafening, as if it ignored the set sound settings or sth along those lines.

Question, does this work with modded drives and reactors. I am talking specificly about this amazing mod here.

hey dude, any chance you could help me implement this inso my warpcores modpack as it would be awsome to be able to make the cores explode like this after a certain amount of damage
troubled_offspring Apr 14, 2019 @ 10:29am
Does it have a chance for exploding or is it always suppose to explode certain blocks? as i have destroyed jump drives and reactors with this mod on with out the big explosion and other times it has exploded
Hawk Art Mar 17, 2019 @ 7:15am
@lugh dont they have uranium? and are essentially nuclear? that means boom, probably giant boom.. just saying
Psi Mar 14, 2019 @ 2:40am
it stops working after few explosions in a row. is there any possibility for the fix?
Lugh Mar 12, 2019 @ 12:22pm
O2 tanks should probably explode as well. reactors don't really make any logical sense to explode imho they don't have anything in them to go boom
troubled_offspring Mar 3, 2019 @ 9:23am
LOVE THIS IDEA, well done :)

My suggestions for blocks that should explode in a critical manner:

Oxygen Tanks, Hydrogen Tanks and Hydrogen Engines
These blocks contain pressurized gas, meaning they should have some form of violent
explosion or pressure release when damaged enough. If you can set a chance for whether or
not they do, I personally recommend it.

Rocket Launcher and Missile Turret (When loaded)
These blocks contain explosive weaponry that explodes on impact. I don't know if you can make
make it explode depending on whether or not it's contains a certain amount of cargo, but it
would be neat.

Batteries, I have seen some industrial batteries do shit they weren't built for, like flying through the air after they exploded..

Hydro Engine, sure. As I understand, it's fusing a magical oxygen supply with the hydrogen to create heat (pressure) to drive pistons, with water vapor being a theoretical exhaust. I can see why that would explode.

I don't know if my suspension of disbelief could handle a tank of pure hydrogen exploding, at least in space. In atmosphere, maybe (but even then, oxygen in the atmosphere is a must). In empty space or an oxygen-deprived atmosphere, the most the hydro tank should do is burst (minimal collateral damage).

Hydrogen tanks for sure. Reactors sound reasonable as well. Hydrogen Engine would also make sense, but both it and the tank only if there's actually some hydrogen in them.

Weapons makes sense as well, though those should probably be fairly small in the case of gatlings, but bigger in the case of missile launchers. For that matter, can you check what the contents of a cargo container are and have it explode if it contains explosives, missiles or hydrogen bottles?
Tamnker Feb 27, 2019 @ 2:03pm
Any and all weapons should explode, with varying degrees of severity.
jump521 Feb 27, 2019 @ 7:04am
Hydrogen tanks would be super cool. Currently, SE is missing some critical targets that you should prioritize to destroy.

what about hug EMP missiles
