Right spawn tend to camp the gateways because can't path. Only juggers advance. No spawns from top advance.

@K84 late reply but the 4 outer gateways in DK have triggers. they only activate if you move into that trigger. So you theoretically can play the game without much enemy aggression. You can check the trigger area with a DK2 editor.

Glad you enjoyed it! Nice to know people are still playing these so many years later.

Excellent recreation of the final level, I enjoyed it a lot! The final push was very tough as it should be, though I felt the "nuisance attacks" early on were a bit too easy. I remember it being more difficult in DK2. But that is relatively minor. I do like the small details were added for WFTO, too.

@The Coolest Cat
Hi! Glad you enjoyed the ones I did. No, I don't have any plans to do other ones. The remaining ones were either not very interesting to me, relied too much on defeating another keeper to be easy to script, or had some element that could not be scripted (like the 4 princes can't be made to flee).

Hi! Are you planning on doing the rest of the DK2 maps?

@coolskeleton Level 15 is done and added to my collection. Enjoy!

@coolskeleton Since you asked so nicely. Maybe I'll have a look at poisonheadcrab's level and revamp it with a bit of scripting. I do like the sneaky way the crusade version has you sneak in to get the black knights. Might be fun to recreate.

Thanks so much! Don't really have an inspiration for new levels at the moment and I've done all the Dungeon Keeper levels I like so probably won't be making any more for a while. But give me a follow and if inspiration strikes you'll be the first to know :-)

You get ambushed by a huge number of very high level enemies once you've started the battle with the Emperor. Granted, I'm not 100% sure exactly which gate they spawned from. I was actually defeated when I just replayed it before doing this level. Seems like Bullfrog was the sneaky one ;-)

I haven't played the original in ages, so I can't really remember. Couldn't hurt to add some spawns to the script anyway though, especially as this level is supposed to be the epic final battle between good and evil. After all, I'm fairly sure that sneaky attack against your Dungeon Core after killing the Emperor wasn't in the original either. :P

It's true. When I played the real Heartland in DK2 they didn't seem to do anything either. I think they're just there for the meance that they could do something, which is good enough I guess.
I didn't feel like I should necessarily make them spawn something just because they're there. Of course I could have missed it. If you do find out they do something in the real game let me know and I'll duplicate it here.

The four outer Overworld Gateways within the Emperor's fortress don't seem to do anything - none of them spawned any heroes when I played this level.
