where did the arab revolt national spirit go? you cant play without it since it doesnt let you complete the rest of the focuses to put down the arab revolt then gain independence.

@john rode official No. I just ended up landing a job, which has eaten into a lot of my time. The job is a temp job, but I'm working long hours, which is leaving me exhausted on the weekdays. With me only being able to work on the weekends, progress has been slow.

I played this on 1.9.1 but there is a big bug where I can't do the "Stop the Arab Revolt" National Focus.

@skoDOOM You have to form Israel first. You can't change ideology as the Mandate. Become Israel, then you can do whatever you want to change ideology.

Thanks for the update! I love this mod. The problem is that I start completly independent now.

It's historically inaccurate to suggest that anyone would side with the Arabs, except who did: The Axis. I am not going into the Grand Mufti's attempt at a Middle-Eastern Holocaust, as that's a surefire way to get my mod kicked off the Workshop. The Soviets would not support them, as supporting them would put them at odds with the Allies, which they didn't want, and they would require the Arabs to become Atheist Communists for help, which the Arabs would never agree to.

Just because it's called Mandatory Palestine, that doesn't mean it was for the Arabs who had stolen the region. The full name is "The British Mandate of Palestine-Transjordan" It was named after the two geographic regions, not after who lived there. Palestine may be in the name, but the actual Mandate was a Zionist extension of the British Empire. There was no one with power who would advocate for an Arab state except for the original plan of giving GEOGRAPHICAL Palestine to the Jews and GEOGRAPHICAL Transjordan to the Arabs, much like how they divided the Raj between Muslims and Hindus once the Raj was given independence.

Why are you shoving your political views into a video game? Just because of your opinion your not going to include something in the literal name of the mod. that is outright rediculous. I'm Palestinian, and if i made a mod for a video game i would include an Israeli focus tree even with my opinion. Very dishonorable of you.

@Sharp1Tooth Perhaps I wasn't clear enough for you: no anti-Semetic paths will be allowed. This is not your mod, it is my mod, as it was turned over to me when the previous owner stopped working on it. His point of view was either side with Britain as the Zionists and work on the slow construction of a Jewish state, like in our timeline, or to take an alternate path and resist the Empire, becoming Israel sooner. All I have added is a way to become Israel if you become independent peacefully. If you want Palestine, you have to play an Arab nation and destroy Israel after they form, and release Palestine in the peace deal. That's the only way, and it's staying that way. No pro-Palestine comments. Modern politics will have no place in a mod that takes place in the 30s and 40s.

@Sharp1Tooth There is no reason to. The government of the British Mandate of Palestine-Transjordan was Zionist. There was no way the location of ancient Israel was going to be given to the Arabs after the British started building a Jewish state, and that building was already in progress at the start date, so too bad. I have noted in the description that no more of these posts will be tolerated. It's my mod, and I can delete all drama and controversial comments if I want.

@Kyle I can't do that. That's just not possible. Any two mods that add nations are going to be incompatible unless you manually merge them. Sorry.

Because when I launch the game Mandatory Palestine name is missing.

The mod is pro-Israel, and it doesn't extend the end date. The only war involving the Arab World refusing to let the Jews have their rightful ancestral homeland back because they were there thousands of years in advance is the one where they attack to try to destroy it upon its birth. There will be expansionist options in the upcoming Israel tree for after forming Israel, but I haven't gotten to it yet. This optional expansion will deal with trying to control all the land from Abraham's vision: from Damascus to the Nile, but there will be other options, such as revenge for the Holocaust once the faction Israel is in occupies Berlin, and then a fully peaceful path, and still others, as forming the new government is also important, since once you form Israel, you don't have to stay neutral, as you get access to the drift advisors.

Does this mod follow history and will lead to the Sinai War, Six-Day War, Yom Kippur War etc? Or is it just about the establishment of Israel and you take on from there?

Palestinians should all go to Jordan. Jordan offered them all a place to live after Israel formed out of splitting the Mandate. And tit's not "the homeland" for Arabs/Muslims/etc. The Jews settled it over 4000 years ago, and lived there for over 2000 years before the Diaspora began. If we're going based on who was there first out of all the parties that have vied for it in the past 4000 or so years, the most recent is Arabs, then Christians before them, then Hellenists before them, then Jews before them. There are no known remains of the Canaanite minor kingdoms, so longest claim by a people that exist today is the Jews, so by them having the oldest claim, they get the word "homeland".
