I understand that the version of StatusMessagePanel.lua imported by the mod to facilitate custom notifications is out of date; since I haven't been able to figure out a "fix" for this, I'd recommend removing the included version of said file and maybe also references to the file in the .modinfo

This mod causes reports to get stuck at the top of the screen for me. Any idea why or how?

If those mods break Holy Site replacements then that's their problem, gameplay mods which break modded civs are type disrespectful

The Ziggurat replacement mod for Holy Site could work for Religion Expanded and District Expansion Spirituality.

Really really good. I love this rework. The district is so much better than the improvement because , like you said, it's not a dime a dozen improvement anymore and actually feels like a sacred temple, and I love the synergy it has with Gilga's bonuses to heroes in H&L, and if you combine the ziggurat with the feed the world belief you can work those specialist slots for free putting you far ahead of everyone else.

I just want to reiterate how much fun I've had with this rework -- even more now that I've gotten to play it with the GS expansion. Thank you so, so much for updating it, and, please, consider this a no-pressure request to update the Ur-Nammu mod, which I loved beyond the telling of it. I can understand if you've moved on to other things -- it happens to everyone -- but, you know, if you're waiting for a show of interest in this cacophony of shouting and needy people... you've got one.

You can't build the improvement.

Up above you mention that the Ziggurat improvement can still be built (at least you imply that), and while it is still listed in the Civilopedia, there isn't any tech or civic that unlocks the builder ability to build it. So, am I the only one with this problem?

Well in that case then I refer you to my previous comment on the matter. If it's a problem for you, then it should be a simple enough change to correct the mismatching keys; the deeper conceptual flaws you bring up are a pretty good case for me not being expected to provide my own support for a heavily abstract and baseless ability.

It just doesn't count the Ziggurat district for the Phalanx. The Phalanx is also probably underpowered if it's a district and not an improvement.

I fixed that already, no? If it's still broken then you can either post logs or fix it yourself, bc idc about 3/4UC to work out why it might be broken again.

If you've coded the whole thing but are stuck at the bit I don't know how to do, then you may as well just go look for help and be proud of the mod you've made.

Your rework is more interesting than vanilla Sumer but like you said a bit OP. I think you could cut down the great scientist bonus to +1, remove the standard bonuses from mountains for the Ziggurat, and remove the bonus from walls. They would still be better than the original version where you had a situational UA.

I'm a bit curious about how the AI handles this rework. Did you also change the leader agenda?

This is a good mod. If I may make a suggestion about the wording of the description for Cradle of Civilization.

"Completing a Technology before any other Player grants a Eureka for one random Technology in the current Era (if this is what it does). Upon completing a Eureka, gain Faith equal to (whatever the amount is). Farms adjacent to rivers grant +1 Food."

Hey, so I've been struggling on trying to get this mod to work correctly, and I'm not sure what I can do. So initially, the Ziggurat District just never showed up in the game, but other people seemed to have that issue, and has since been fixed which is awesome. But now, the Ziggurat Distrisct is in the game, but it is no one's Unique, and Sumer lost its second Unique entirely. I really really love your mods, and I really hope I can find a way to get this mod to work as well. Thank you for your good work!

Updated to fix missing GPP and Trade Route Yields from the Ziggurat.

@TCD I don't use, or particularly like, 3UC mods so as much as I'm happy to fix a code error to further compatibility with as many mods as possible I'm not particularly interested in writing new stuff to fix a logic issue with a mod I really care for; Del's presumably heard about the release and if he cares for it he can fix it on his end using an ANY ReqSet.

I also don't particularly see how the War Cart can be any more useless than the Heavy Chariot, given that it's only marginally weaker but compensates for this with its lower cost and earlier unlock so that it is still useful for countering Units which Heavy Cavalry is meant to focus; I don't see why it being weak against things it's meant to be weak against is an issue, especially when it has various other benefits over the Warrior such as more Movement and a better promotion tree.

Only a little bit into a game trying this out, and a few things sticking out:

- War-Carts are pretty useless now. Restoring their weakness to anticav makes them not much worth building, particularly since Warriors can technically be better at fighting with Commando.
- Another little incompatibility with Steel and Thunder's UUs, as the Phalanx's ability only triggers on the Ziggurat *improvement*, not the new UD; which limits their uniqueness.
- And one big missing point: No Great Prophet points from the Ziggurat district! I checked the GP tab expecting to be halfway to my Prophet only to find I had no points whatsoever 😥

@circeus All other adjacency bonuses are identical to the Holy Site; only the Forest adjacency is removed.

A) Does the Ziggurat still gets the mountain adjacency bonus.
B) I like most things about this except for the warcart being weakened from spearmen. The point of it was to make them very good at clearing barbarian camps for Epic Quests, and it was by far the best thing about Gil IMO.

Issue with Moar Units fixed. Steel and Thunder worked fine when I tried it ugh you're meaning the new units version not the UUs version despite your screenshots having the UUs version well I'm assuming they're the same error of all the mods trying to make the War Cart a Heavy Chariot replacement so now it should all work fine thanks for the logs guys.

I'm really enjoying this take on Sumer so far. However, I've noticed a conflict with Deliverator23's Steel and Thunder: Unit Expansion mod. See the screenshots in my profile for more info on the effects of the conflict.
