Different style for each class, wow! You've definitely put effort on this. In my opinion it would work well already as a simple cosmetic part.

i have ideas for other classes
scout:chicken wings and a bat
pyro:some matches and a baloonicorn
demoman: a sword and some grenades
medic: some medipacks and syringes
sniper: jarate and a machete
spy: a sapper and some cigarrettes

This should be avalible for the Soldier, Demoman, Heavy, Engineer, and Sniper!

If this was just a cosmetic it would be great. The idea of it as a weapon seems strange and only makes sense to me on the engineer as a replacement for his secondary

it looks good! it really fits in frontline, but i think it should only work with soldier heavy and engineer since it it shows rockets, heavy ammo red/blue prints but if its multi-class you should do it for each class like for demoman you could add his pills or beer, or for sniper its filled with coffee or jarate. but either way it looks great! I hope this would be into the game!

Engineer Specific: 4+ Metal regenerated per second
Engineer Specific: Cannot regenerate ammo

Other Classes:
Regenerate 4+ Ammo per second
25% Ammo Capacity
Does not drop ammo upon death
Not Compatable with Spy, (e.g: Spy Would Have Either No Sapper Or Revolver, basically useless, and would be considered a crutch)

If Team fortress 2 had a slot 7 for equipment items, I could see this ammo regen backpack being added in.

However, you get ammo by killing people and with ammo box pick ups. So this might need a upside like mouse 2 to throw a medium ammo box.

In the old weapon concepts, the scout would have gotten a backpack that can pick up map items like health and ammo. Why not make that a slot 7 item unlock for the Scout?

slot 7 for equipment items like grenades, mines and utility items(like all the non-gun unlocks in the game excluding the demoman's shields) as well as the unlocks like the backup backpack would be good.
