The hallway appears to be fixed, as does the third room and the last puzzle.
with the propulsion gel, in what wall did you get stucked? i don't have clear that point, where exactly you mean? i'm really interested, and make changes if its needed.
about that major exploit, i will look into that and i'll make the proper changes. thanks for advertising!
and for the last puzzle, the one with repulsion gel, you don't need to cover the walls with gel... just to get cover the cube in the gel. then, it will climb by himself. that's what i intented. maybe i should "force" player to not to think the must cover the walls with the gel (to avoid they trying that tedious way), but i don't know how to do this :(
it's too late here (6:25 am) and i have to go to sleep now. but tomorrow i will make changes taking in consideration your comments. again, thank you very much! :)
Hi The Ao Oni, thanks for playing and for the feedback! glad to hear you enjoyed it.
The clock that stops the tractor beam is just to make more confortable for players to shot portal to the angled panel. while watching streaming of a couple of friends testing the chamber, i noticed that they get into the funnel by mistake, making them go down and making that part a bit tedious. i had my doubts if i should put that timer to stop the tractor beam, becouse it could confuse some players (as it happened to you). i'm still not sure if i should remove it.
you are right, the timer for the reversed panel (wich is in case players forget or miss their upper portal) it's too close, and there's no need to be it. I will change that.
I also found a major exploit in that room. There is an observation window on the wall above the laser socket. I got the cube, then while messing around with it happened to place a portal on the entrance floor where you come in and another on the wall that becomes angled to roll the ball down. I leapt out close to the left wall and landed on the sill of the window, where I was able to barely jump onto the exit platform. Using this, I skipped almost the entire last room (which I went back and played properly).
In the final ventilation shaft, the repulsion gel for the wall-jump didn't cover a tiny bit of the wall, so I would fall about half the time.
Overall, a good map that needs a few minor tweaks to be effective due to bugginess.
4/5 stickybombs
Enjoyed this puzzle a lot. I also noticed several things that could be changed to make it even better.
The first room is nice. What is the purpose of the button that stops the tractor beam? I played around in the room for a bit and found no situation where I needed to stop the beam.
The hallway with the lasers was good, though the timer on the part where you need to flip the ceiling to place a portal is a tad short.
The third room was my favorite, and also my least favorite. To start with the positive: The angled ball bit was fun, and the puzzle was just complex enough to stay entertaining. I also liked how you used tractor beams to maneuvre the cubes into the slots without failure.
The negatives: The propulsion gel. I got stuck in the wall no less than three times.
I also must consider that players can make mistakes. So, no more fizzlers anymore (after the first puzzle), no more goo, and no chance to be trapped in the laser wall room.
I changed some symbos by antlines, i tried not making confusing. I´ll improve this after watching your screenshots about antlines (but that will be tomorrow ^_^)
if you could give another chance to the chamber, and give more feedback, it would be great :)
i mean, i've already tested the changes, but another perspective always is good.
well... i have to admit lots of things. First of all, i took a little badly your critics. But after that, i (honestly) thank you for the feedback. There are very good advices in your posts.
So, i've just done several changes in the chamber.
i admit that the first puzzle was a bit tedious and, in some way, frustrating. Plus, it was the hardest of the chamber (because the execution). So, i reduced a lot the difficulty on this one. After all, a good chamber must gradually increase the difficulty, not starting from the hardest, and also this chamber is suposed to be "easy".

I kind of liked the "basketball" part.
You can fizzle the cube by accident. If it is possible, find a way to remedy the issue.
I don't mean to sound negative as I comment. I just critique maps to hopefully teach other map makers how to avoid common problems when using the map maker. True, my first maps don't follow what I say, but it's all about learning how to avoid it in the future. ;)
Thank you for playing my map. ;)
about symbols: i used symbols where i saw the antlines were confusing (using the mapmaker there is not too many options, antlines crosses each other and its lots of confusing).
is there anything in the chamber that you liked it? :P
I've already played (and commented) in your "Ideas" chamber.
thank you for the feedback
@ wildgoosespeeder, about first part. i puted a long timer in the puzzle with the tractor beams for players have enogh time to "play" with them. i also though that maybe is too much time, i know if you break the cube you have to wait... so yes, i`ll try to adjust better that timer. Also, i noticed people dont make the puzzle of the proper way (wich, i think, it's not that frustrant), i have to work in "force" players to solve that puzzle as i intented.
About the cube, in wich part you do you mean it is possible to lose the cube? i only know two places where that can happens (once you pass the first room): the corridor where the gel is, or playing "basketball" in the goo, but who the hell would do that? i mean, running into the fizzler with the cube? or trhowing the cube inside the crystals where the goo is? and why would someone make two portals behind the lasers? i think that would be "deliberated", but still, i'll try to fix that of some way.
Try out my map maybe?
