What an interresting concept! Now we just need a proper test chamber with simular concepts.

«- Flippie_X -» Jan 30, 2014 @ 1:18pm
How did you do this. you are becoming an expert in map-making
Obi-Gun Kenobi Jan 29, 2014 @ 10:30am
somejew your tests always end up being fun. Please keep making more tests!

Worked wel, but I thought the "safety glass floor" was a bit anticlimactic. It's difficult enough to see the wire mesh, so perhaps make a couple squares that are missing - then the acid bath is more meaningful.
Echo_Jex Dec 2, 2013 @ 7:49pm
hmm, i have mixed feelings on this one. great execution of a new idea, bit it just seemed anticlimactic. maybe take out some of the signage or cave that imply it was supposed to have lethal elements, any maybe a rum there it is kinda hard to tell which tiles are weight plate tiles. maybe this map was just a release to test an idea that will be expanded upon in your next map, i hope so, cuz I'm always looking to see people tape into discarded mechanics. Lastly, great choice of PA at the entrance, hadn't heard that one yet

I never seen anything like this or even heard of the gel or the bouncing light. Good job
Caca de Perro May 23, 2013 @ 12:54am
epic map :D
CloverBun May 22, 2013 @ 6:58pm
pretty sweet i like the purple gell and how lazers bounce off them
balu ♡ May 22, 2013 @ 4:47pm
amazing!
lhamil64 May 22, 2013 @ 3:51pm
Nice map. I think the big thing these trigger buttons do is force the player to stand on the pad, and not use a cube. It's kind of the opposite of the cube receptical.
Twitchy Kitty May 22, 2013 @ 10:56am
amazing.. just... amazing!
Bayram May 22, 2013 @ 7:52am
Nice (easy) puzzles, well presented, thumbs up. I'm not sure that using triggers instead of buttons really adds anything, though.

KiserianSm : The "Glass Button" is just a BEEmod trigger multiple. It activates when the player enters the (128 unit cube) trigger zone and deactivates when the player leaves. It is insensitive to cubes.

Good players, please try my "The Oubliette", which has Hammer improvements to the original PuzzleMaker chamber and therefore should please people looking for the unusual:

Nice chamber!
Uncle Badass May 21, 2013 @ 8:02pm
Quite an interesting idea.
Kiserian May 21, 2013 @ 2:20pm
Hi there mate. Sweet chamber. I love your laser reflection gel since i first saw it some weeks ago. I think the idea of the glass buttons is to keep the atention off them until you realize they're there, If not, I think you can add a signal or something. Btw, Why making the glass button player-pressable only?.

See ya in your next chamber :D
Spring May 21, 2013 @ 11:34am
This is quite good. I hope that you make more of these in the future :p2cube:
(SC)Jace May 21, 2013 @ 11:09am

Pretty cool! Nice map! Love it
acetheawac May 20, 2013 @ 5:21pm
this is a good start! but what program did you use to make this?
PWSmith1 May 20, 2013 @ 2:50pm
its so easy
SevenSilhouette May 20, 2013 @ 11:06am
Ah, could be
Spectro  [author] May 20, 2013 @ 10:36am
SevenSilhouette: Really, that is strange. The buttons were triggers. They only activate when a player is in them. You may have been standing in the trigger while the cube was on it. There is no possible way that a cube can activate an npc trigger.

)
SevenSilhouette May 20, 2013 @ 8:22am
I just assumed the rest could as well
SevenSilhouette May 20, 2013 @ 8:22am
I could put cubes on them... At least a couple of them. The first ones that spawn cubes are able to use cubes.
Spectro  [author] May 20, 2013 @ 8:01am
max-lacoste: There are no doors that are set on timers. I am not quite sure what you are telling me. Did you get stuck in a door when it closed on you? You could only get stuck in the hallway after the room with the two buttons if you missed the lift or getting stuck in the door. If you got stuck in the room, the glass buttons were multiple triggers and would respawn a cube if you lost one. Really the only way I think you could get stuck in the entire test is by missing lifts or getting stuck in doors.
Rodwin May 20, 2013 @ 7:21am
Pretty good ideas, thank you !
ladukie May 20, 2013 @ 7:12am
Nice twist, most funn
max-lacoste May 20, 2013 @ 6:52am
You have a bug on this map. After the room with the 2 box's for buttons - gioing up the lift, your door is set on a timer. Caused me to get 100% stuck, no way of opening either way ( way i came, or way back.) Just pointing it out, It sucks when you have to completely restart the level because it has become impossibe.
mino76.FR May 20, 2013 @ 5:37am
Bonne MAP, nouvelle idées, a suivre ... ;-D

MAP good, new ideas, to follow ... ,-D
Light May 20, 2013 @ 5:17am
so glass buttons are player only buttons. good idia! nice level!
Spectro  [author] May 19, 2013 @ 9:56pm
SevenSilhouette: They don't act like regular buttons; you cannot put cubes on them.
SevenSilhouette May 19, 2013 @ 6:37pm
they act just like regular buttons... the new "concept" is just a cosmetic change
davepilot May 19, 2013 @ 4:10pm
this is an awesome chamber. Glass buttons are cool
Spectro  [author] May 19, 2013 @ 3:22pm
