I'll keep the power thing in mind going forward, but it would be a lot of work to update every gun with it right now.

The power draw was made a while back before the wheel changes, so it is what took up the majority of the power on a tank. The ammo icons are slowly being updated to have the transparent BG :)

Love the quality of these guns, but is there a reason why most of them have such an incredibly high power draw? 300kw draw on guns like the D-10T seems a bit steep when you compare it to what most other things in the game are using, makes it difficult to use them in survival.

Also, are you intending on updating any of the ammo icons in the future? It's difficult to see your ammo count on the ones with a white background.

Otherwise though, great job on these, I think ground combat in this game is alot more fun then some people give it credit for.

And MrDoom, a 105mm may come at some point but there are other mods covering that currently, I personally recommend a guy named Inky's one.

They are balanced versus small grids. My descriptions for newer cannons list their damage. For damage versus large grids I recommend using the explosive weapons like howitzers and especially the naval guns, which will have the damage you desire. Two other honourable mentions would be the L1 and L4 two-part cannons (120mm and 183mm respectively) which are also high in damage even against large grids.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but these weapons seem to cause little to no damage, which feels strange considering how big some of them are, how big the explosion is, and how much kickback they can have. Most cannons take several shots just to dent light armor. Is this intended?

I cannot do so. It would have happened if I could, but each gun has the same set of scripts so there would be a lot of conflicts.

I really enjoy your mods, and really enjoy all the effort put into them. However, I do have one small concern...

THEREZ NAWT ENUFF DAKKA.
I was hoping you could remedy that, by creating a couple guns I personally enjoy:
The soviet U-5TS, a 115 mm chonky boi
The soviet M-10T, a 152 mm Chonk
and the German Rheinmetall Rh-120, a 120 mm CHONK.

Vanilla weapons are overpowered, and small grid heavy armour is not tough enough for its weight to compensate. These guns are based around that, rather than being more powerful alternatives to the gatling gun/rocket launcher as they're made for space combat, these are made for ground.

If you want more powerful stuff look at the M5B 150mm, L1, L4 120/183mm respectively, M6B, M7.

I love these guns, Nice work man. the only down side is that they do so little damage. if I mount a standard gatling as a coax mounted gun I end up doing far more damage with that than the main guns here. Why such low damage compared to the vanilla weapons?

You sure? Anything not marked 'fixed' or without a prefix at all should not be used. It all works fine for me and the vast majority of others.

No, they are affected by gravity and so will only arc when in an artificial or natural G.

Can you please make the larger calibers work on large ships too? my big ships need some big cannons and these would work perfect for it. Most of the main battle cannons are outdated or unsupported

To my knowledge the ones that crash the game are marked with broken; test it by loading each gun you use one by one on an empty world to see which makes it die.

I have always loved making ships until I delved deep into warthunder, then I found this mod and I went to designing tanks and casemate tank destroyers, this is by far one of the best modders on space engineers <3

i think the ammo racks were an amazing addition even though they dont serve a true purpose besides realism, was hoping to make an amx 13 style autoloader but hand loading will have to do. still probably the best mod collection ive ever downloaded

Hand loading sadly, some have conveyors but I don't remember which so you'll need to test yourself. The racks are there for simulation/authenticity when hitting them they explode. :) Working on a way to make them dispense ammo when grinded down so they're more useful.

i noticed that the 17pr, 32pdr, and 45 all come with ammo racks. do they do anything? can you make those guns into autoloaders with them or do you still have to load each shell by hand?

Strange, it works fine for me? Perhaps try finding the mod .bin in your workshop folder within your steam install location and deleting it, then redownloading? It should be named "1444353623"

FYI The 183mm mod appears broken.

Upon load-in; I get these:

Had to remove this modpack collection (only the collection, kept the mods themselves), and removed the 183 from my mod list. (183mm QF L4 Cannon)
