This is a good map, but I'm not at all satisfied with where you hid the companion cube. I spent hours trying to find it, and even questioned whether there was one at all. But jgaultney's screenshot proved it, so there must be one. I didn't know that the prison cells you were referring to were the observation rooms, and the pathway behind the wall where the pedestal button was really threw me off. I eventually found it in a crack in the floor, but that crack is almost too tiny to be noticeable.

puzzle itself easy but finding companion cube was harder than Finding NEMO :p2blue:fav:p2cube::p2orange:

Great visuals :)
Good thing I found the cube. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight xD jgaultney's comment helped.

Nice decayed style map - very challenging puzzle to think through. Thanks for creating.

Most excellent hammer work - good choice of puzzle to work with. Big thumbs up :)

Nice map! Didn't read your description until now. Will have to go back and find the cube now. :-) Cheers!

... found the occ (after an even bigger hint!) and took it with me - very funny
Expat Jul 7, 2018 @ 10:17pm
Nice remake although I never found the OCC. Thanks for creating.
jgaultney Jul 7, 2018 @ 7:58am
I hadn'td realized there was an OCC, so I had to go back and find it. :) Screenshot
Your hint mentions three "prison cells".?? I saw no prison cells but
I did see two observation rooms??

Impressive remake of a great puzzle; definitely adds to the original – big thumbs up. Tried all sorts of stuff, but couldn’t work out how to get the companion cube.

Excellent remake. Thumbs up.

I don't know why I didn;t see that last move. I love moving objecta around using that solution. Thanks for creating. A favorite of mone now.

Excellent visuals, Asd, and a fun puzzle, Demon! Only complaint about the visuals are those dust motes near the exit button. I'd recommend using the particle system for them instead, otherwise they are giant and blocky. Thumbs up and added to my favourites!
bullfrog Jul 5, 2018 @ 12:53am
I think the big difference is that the cube dropper is on the far side of the funnel in your puzzle; in Demon’s it’s between you and the funnel and, therefore, you can’t funnel the cube towards you then move funnel to catch it and take it to the exit button.

There certainly are number of ways to do the final move. I don't think any of them are exploits.
bullfrog Jul 5, 2018 @ 12:31am
... this felt a better end move: spoiler video alternative end moves, which is, obviously, very different to the other one I did.
asd417  [author] Jul 5, 2018 @ 12:03am
Eh I don't think that's necessarily an unintended solution. I believe that it is also possible in the original puzzle, so I don't necessarily mind.
bullfrog Jul 4, 2018 @ 11:58pm
Spoiler video of unintended solution ?
jgaultney Jul 4, 2018 @ 7:13pm
I remembered the puzzle (with a different name, I think) but had to re-solve. :) Very nice detail
work. I didn't see any missing resources or find any bugs/shortcuts. A good puzzle with very
few elements. Thumbs up!
