I'd like to see an update where there are more options to the settings.
I've wanted to find amber and then make dinosaur, to be the only and first colony to do that, but then I see ship merchant with dinosaur, traveler merchant, migration, and more consisting of dinosaur already existing, despite forbidding the spawn.
Furthermore, I'd like also to have the option to remove all generation of the mod, such as amber ruins, because it's way too easy to find amber that way :/

I second The Right Knee’s suggestions, at least if the mod author is still interested in upkeep for this (not meant as pressure, just as feedback!). I also found the amount of amber to be overwhelming, and especially in the early game I almost exclusively received carnivore/herbivore traders.

Interestingly my game would also crash if I tried placing water from this mod as a large moat iirc, but it’s been a while since I played with it (I didn’t realize that it worked fine with 1.2 until now) and I run a lot of other mods, so that may have just been a conflict.

Hey, Boss, I have some recommendations for a 1.2 update (no need to follow them). For one, a way to reduce the amount of amber spaw ing on the map would be nice. Also, if there is a way to lower the frequency of carnivore/herbivore traders that would be nice. Yet another thing, I noticed this mod seems to overwrite the vanilla mobs for events, such as farm animals wandering into a colony, or manhunter packs. It would be nice if there was a way to lower the frequency of this mods' animals overwriting vanilla mobs, like how you can edit wild spawns in the mod config. Would appreciate this patch as it would be immersive to feel like the only colony with dinosaur technology, and they don't appear in the wild outside the colony.

A very good mod. A few issues. The Indominus and the Indoraptor do not lay eggs, they have live young. Also, the amber is veins are way to common, and way to big. I have to use QoL to fix that issue.

Just leaving some more feedback. Still haven't made dinos yet but it's so much fun having them in the game. Really enjoying this mod, it's exactly what I was looking for for a playthrough

Been using this in my 1.2 playthrough. Works well enough so far, at least where dino spawning is concerned. Not sure about dino growing as I haven't tried that yet. Very cool mod, and nice choice with the music tracks, they fit in really well!

Does this function with the Genetic Rim mod, since that one adds dinos as well? Should this be an either-or situation or can both work and just lots of dinos get spawned?

AMBER, AMBER, AMBER!! I think amber is just too common, it shouldn't be considered metallic because it becomes a common building/crafting mat. I think if it were rare with higher yield or part of a quest like hiring a dig team it could still be available when you need it while not being everywhere when you don't.

(I personally used a QOL mod to change its properties to my liking, specifically changing its material property from metallic to gemstone seemed to help the most)

@AnimaL Yes a lot of problems with balance but you can try change mod settings and try to recreate the dinosaurs yourself. Personally, I would like to have no power plant in this mod.

Idea is good, but why everyone has to make his mod the most op? What is this sentry turret for that costs? What is wrong with the stats of amber or chitin? Why for gods sake 9/10 traders are from this mod? 1/3 of the resources on my map is amber. i have like 10 mods for animals, but 90% of spawned animals are dinos.

First off all i want to say great mod love it! But i do have a question if you could reduce the value's of amber when it comes to beauty and ancient chitin when it comes to armor and dmg value's in my opinion it feels way to powerful for how early you can get a decent amber statue or ancient chitin weapon kinda makes any other material or weapon irrelevant

Updated to 1.1, finally, 1.0 support is manual only and you'll find the download link in the description simply because I couldn't get the load folders to work properly even after a few days of trying, figured it was better to get it updated than hold it back on that front.

I've changed the defnames for multiple dinosaurs so this will be compatible with Dinosauria and Megafauna going on wards. I haven't extensively tested this but the game seems to handle all the mods being loaded together, anyway.

Thanks for being patient. Also stay tuned for texture updates, you'll probably notice a few already. Figured it was time to give this mod a new lick of paint.

So good news, managed to update the C# stuff despite no prior experience, I'm mostly just finishing up some textures and xml stuff. The mod will also finally be updated to be compatible with Dinosauria and Megafauna, so there's that.

Hey all, just want to let you know that I'm still on the road to updating this mod, it's just real world events are currently bogging me down and I don't have enough time to work on this mod as I'd like.
