I am considering my options. The most likely option currently is to create an event that spawns when the game starts. Everything related to Switzerland/Ethiopia will be locked behind you choosing my Swiss stuff over the DLC stuff.
I always knew this day would come, but I admit, I kind of expected it to be my Scandinavian stuff, not Switzerland/Ethiopia.

I've heard there a new DLC soon come to HOI4 with focus tree for Italy, Switzerland, Ethiopia and one more country idk yet. Does that mean your mod will be useless?

Hmm it seems that your mod and the mongolia focus tree mod from someone named AUG seems conflicting each other even with season pass. Idk how...

The portraits I use are with permission from their owners. I would need to ask each artist in that mod permission to use their portraits.

There has been a 4th mod stuck in development hell for awhile now. My life got very crazy about 2 years ago, and I have just not been able to find the time that I once did. I do really want to at least finish that mod though, it's not like nothing has been done on it. It's just not finished (or updated for NSB).

Yes, I have finished 2 of the 3 sub-mods. I just need to finish Heart of Darkness. It's unfortunately just slow going. I have far less free time than I used to.

Weird, last time I played this mod the decision didn't show up. Probably just a bug or something. I'm sure it'll be fix once the mod gets updated.

I really want to finish it before the end of summer. I really am sorry that it got as delayed as it has been, but unfortunately this is the bane of the single developer. My life has simply just not offered me the time to work on it. COVID and my premature recall from Peace Corps destroyed my carefully laid plans for the future, so I was sort of left scrambling to pick up the pieces.

Democratic Interventionist Norway doesnt have ideas that actually allow the country to send volunteers, despite having ideas that give buffs to allow volunteers to be sent earlier

I QUITE LIKE THIS MOD! IT SEEMS TO BE A PREETY EAZY MOD!

It happened twice so far, both in multiplayer. 1st game, Germany was a player and delayed Anschluss quite a bit. In the other Game, Germany was a bot but it still happened somehow.
1. Game was set to historical focuses
2. I was Japan on one game. In the other one i dont remember anymore. I think USSR
3. Yes, but none of them mess with Germany or Austria. They are only minor modifications like nerfing Stratbombers or making more Dockyards available.

I will check to see if I can still get it to bug

I have run the game on historical 3 times, and each time the game went as planned, with Germany annexing an Austria awhile away from forming Austria-Hungary. In order to try and diagnose this discrepancy, I have some questions:
1: Did you set the game to historical, or did you set Austria's behavior to historical?
2: What nation were you playing?
3: Do you have any other mods activated?

When do they do it? They will eventually form it, but they should be annexed by Germany in a historical playthrough before that happens. If they are forming before 1939, please let me know, because that means that something is wrong.

Another thing I noticed: On historical focuses, austria always makes austria-hungary. I know for certain that Austria Hungary was not reformed before ww2, so it should probably not happen on historical focuses.

They're not my portraits, most are from Kaiserreich. You would need to ask them. They likely will give you permission, they were very friendly when I approached.

Do you mind if I use the scandinavian leader's portraits temporarily until I make my own for my mod?

I am working on a new mod. I've just not had as much free time as I've had in the past, so it is coming along slower than I would like. (I also became involved in the converters, so I put some of my modding hours there.)

This mod is awesome, I really enjoy your work! May I ask whether you're working on a new mod or you just keep updating the old ones?

They have to lose to Abyssinia first. Even then, they may decide to keep the fascists but depose Mussolini (which won't change the tree)

I haven't tried this yet but with Season Pass mod enabled the Italy tree doesn't change. I'm gonna try disabling few mods one by one and see if a mod does affect the Italian tree.
