Man, I was questioning if you could create a mod were all this puppet states are independent factions but can have puppets instead of tributaries. This way you can choose if wanna to go at war with anyone other roman state. Thanks for the response, I love this game, and payed it for years, but recently I came back to him.

When did you unsubscribe and delete? If it was on July 11th try it again now, as I uploaded several different versions on July 11th and maybe you're still on one of those previous versions. I'm also gonna friend request you so we can talk about it. I'm really sorry this is happening, I'm going to fix it ASAP.

Hey Collier, having an issue with this mod since the July 11th update - I can't start a campaign or load a previous one without it crashing during the loading screen.
I've unsubscribed and deleted the mod, then re-installed it. Nothing has changed, sadly. The game still crashes at the same time. I'm only using one of the two mods - this one.

Jonarus, my mod is not compatible with the 12 TPY mod, and if you try to run both at the same time it disables faction selection for any of the puppet states. I'm not opposed to making a 12 TPY variant of my mod though. I'm working on some tech tree fixes right now, but when I'm done updating that I can try to teach myself how to do 12 TPY.

Unfortunately, I seem to be having the same issue as Salem - Britain did appear in the skirmish list, but with no units. And NONE of the 'new' factions appeared in the campain faction choices.

Also, you never confirmed the TPY mod question - If you've edited the startpos file(s) at all, then probably not... In which case, a version of these mods with a 12TPY system built-in would probably be worth considering.

Hmmm, well then I'm at a loss. I've never come across that while testing it. Try deleting my mod and re-downloading it, perhaps it got corrupted or has not updated from a previous version. Or verify your game cache. Let me know if you continue to have problems please.

are you running any other mods? Everything is working on my end. Also make sure you're only subscribed to EITHER the puppet or tributary state mod. Subscribing to both will break it.

Trying to run it but unfortunately all I can find in GC is Roman 1 and 2 awhich only have WRE and ERE but no states

I have just added the submod that gives the tributaries the ERE or WRE units. The link is above in the description! Also, Pontus, Macedon, and Illyria are all playable in singleplayer or co-op campaign. All factions are now located in "Roman 1 of 2" or "Roman 2 of 2" in the faction selection screen. Enjoy!

@Uncle Sam It will be finished very soon. I looked into it last night and its 100% possible to do. Also, it would depend on how those other mods are made. But I'm ASSUMING that yes those mods would now apply to the tributary states if the tributaries were using the WRE or ERE military groups. After I release the submod please let me know if it works with those mods or not.

@Collier When were you thinking of releasing the sub-mod for the ERE and WRE technology trees to be in the Tributary states? I'm honestly very, very, very excited to play Egypt like that, or Britain. This would also allow for the deployment of other mods, which add units to specifically WRE and ERE factions, meaning their technology trees.. Right? Mods such as Legionary Cohort and Imperia Praetorium?

Let us be real, it would require each army to have individual look for each tributary state, due to the fact these are places from where Auxilaries came, so some, local spice variety to the WRE or ERE units of these Tributary Border Governers of the Empires for their armies.

And also, thanks to David for advice on how to make more of the tributary states playable. I'm very close to adding another "faction group" in the faction selection screen that will allow Pontus, Illyria, and Macedon to be playable. Should be released very soon!

So glad ya'll are enjoying it! And yeah Egypt is in such a cool location I think. It's in a great position to unite the entire Southern part of the map. And Uncle Sam, I've been thinking about it and I believe it may be possible to make a submod that gives the puppets the same military group as the WRE or ERE. I originally did not put that in the mod because I felt the puppets should always be slightly less powerful than the emperor, but I understand wanting to have the full compliment of units. Let me look into the possibility of a submod this weekend that can be optionally subscribed to for that very purpose. Stay tuned.

Will you add the rest of the "Roman Factions"? I personally don't need it, but it is such a great mod that it would be cool to play as any section of the Empire.

Also the abilty to "Unite" and become "The Romans" would be amazing, with one of the victory conditions being a Capital in Rome.

Also units from Last Roman as Mercenaries would be great for the late game.

It's a lovely mod.. It really is.. However, as an ERE tributary, I can't build the ERE late tech units, such as the armored legio or Lanciarii Seniores, which I would in fact, really love to build, as for example Egypt.

Having a blast playing with Egypt, first I gained independence by fighting off the ERE then I went for Africa and Spain. Invaded Italia and I have the WRE pushed back to Gaul/upper-Spain. Thnx for the mod!

In the vanilla game the roman minor factions are part of a different "military group" than the WRE and ERE. They basically cannot get tier 3 units and I believe the vanilla game is that way so that a minor roman faction could never be as powerful as the ERE or WRE. For that same reason I left the minor roman factions with this limited military group in the database tables because I felt a historical "comes" should never be on par with the emperor in terms of military firepower. However feel free to change the "military group" db table and add it to my mod so that all roman factions have the same recruitable units (this would be easy using pack file manager). Just please post a link to this mod and credit this mod if you plan on releasing a modified version of it.

I'll test it tonight to see if its compatible. I never modded anything involving TPY when creating this, so my initial assumption is that TPY mods could be used simultaneously with this mod with no problems. I'll let you know what I find out.
