Nice, but I don't use with Network Tiling and look good yet.

I just wanted to say thank you very much. It looks like I had several much needed things from you, and didn't realize they were all from you until I looked at your workshop root. THANKS!

You can find this in-game in the beautification menu, under the Walls and Fences tab if you own Parklife - If you don't, they will be with the Quays and Canals
G.Paws Mar 14, 2022 @ 3:37am
do you have to place it manually

Hi Badi, for some reason the shadows are very inaccurate, and it makes the fences appear like they are floating. I was wondering if there was a fix for this. Thanks.

I'm subscribed to this item but it's not showing up in game. Not in walls and fences and not in find it.

Network Tiling don`t work anymore.

Is it possible to make a version that isn't terrain conforming? I would like to use these networks on an elevated motorway. Great asset!
1Estel1 Apr 19, 2021 @ 7:53am
can i use this without parklife?
Hayran Jan 6, 2021 @ 3:16pm
Looks good with Vanilla assets.
Clunk Feb 1, 2020 @ 8:14am
These are great and so easy to use. Many thanks!

Finally, I can put noise walls on ramps!

...right?

I don't care if they don't do anything for the noise, I just have some buildings right next to the ramps and I want it to look like they are somewhat protected.

Should I still get the Network Tiling Mod as well?
wavesssss7 Jun 4, 2019 @ 2:29pm
Reminds me of the sound barriers we have down in Arizona. Nice work!
martin Dec 25, 2018 @ 12:20am
do these have a sound reducing effect like trees, especially the sound barriers?
Badi_Dea  [author] Nov 2, 2018 @ 7:31pm
@hewkii9 : Sorry, can't help there, I've never exported anything from the game before. You don't need Parklife to do anything with this asset.
elbevarde Nov 1, 2018 @ 8:51pm
Hi Badi, I'm a big fan of these mods of yours and have been trying to make a fence design of my own using yours as a base. I can't figure out how to dump the meshes of your model though; I've tried this video for dumping road meshes to no avail; the folder he points to is empty when I try it with your asset. Is there any advice you could please share with me? Do I need Parklife to dump the meshes?

Is it possible to make the nodes a little bit larger so they are easier to manually select with the Move It mod?
Badi_Dea  [author] Jun 18, 2018 @ 3:32pm
@Lextacy : From the description - These networks are called 'fences' for a reason, they will exactly conform to the terrain and are incapible of being raised or lowered.

Basic/Bridge/Rail shader networks in the game aren't capible of exactly conforming to the ground, the network will raise or lower parts of the ground to make it smooth or if that feature is turned off, simply float there.
The fence shader is stuck to the ground exactly and follows the ground with perfect precision.
Making walls with regular network shaders was never an intended use, the fence shader was introduced to allow a proper way of making fences so they don't float (or require a mile long beam to the ground for that matter) because of poor terrain precision.
Lextacy Jun 17, 2018 @ 9:40pm
So I tried these out and there is a big issue. They cannot be raised using the Move It tool. Can you make these raise-able like the concrete walls network by Avanya?
YeOl'Choppa Jun 16, 2018 @ 2:21pm
and.. my city just got fucked by 2 disasters at the same time. got start it all over again...
YeOl'Choppa Jun 16, 2018 @ 2:20pm
@Badi_Dea
i figured i had to, thanks for the reply anyway.
Badi_Dea  [author] Jun 16, 2018 @ 2:08pm
@Longu : They work just like the fences that come included with the Parklife DLC
@Quboid : Thanks!
YeOl'Choppa Jun 16, 2018 @ 1:06pm
do i have to manually place the barriers along the road?
Quboid Jun 15, 2018 @ 7:18pm
Making these reversible is very useful, thanks for the tweak to your wonderful asset.
Badi_Dea  [author] Jun 12, 2018 @ 7:21pm
@kyoden79 : that would be awesome, but unfortunately there isn't a mechanisim builtin to the game to allow that with a network.
kyoden79 Jun 12, 2018 @ 3:46pm
Great mod!
One question though, do these sound barriers help block sound?
Thanks!
Badi_Dea  [author] Jun 11, 2018 @ 6:33pm
aubergine18 : Thats doable, gimmie a little bit to update though, I'm busy for the next couple days.

Thanks folks!
leftbehind Jun 11, 2018 @ 4:05am
Is it possible to mark the single-side barrier as assymetrical so that upgrade tool can be used to reverse it's direction?
keg Jun 9, 2018 @ 5:50am
fucking great thanks for making this
S.H.A.N Jun 8, 2018 @ 7:09pm
COOL! Have been waiting for this for a long time
Mr.Zombie Jun 8, 2018 @ 12:19pm
Very nice stuff
Badi_Dea  [author] Jun 8, 2018 @ 8:22am
@--JR-- : The textures will be stretched quite a bit, it looks worse on some assets than others. I really don't know why this capibility isn't in the base game, it's a builtin feature that the Network Tiling mod just allows to be edited, it's a very slim and efficient mod.

@exothermic : it basically works like a road

lol you all are funny, thanks for the comments - I really enjoy reading them
--JR-- Jun 8, 2018 @ 8:01am
"The network tiling mod is strongly recommended, but not having it will not break the asset, it'll just look a LOT ugly."

How ugly are we talking about?
Borsch Jun 8, 2018 @ 6:36am
These are godly! It's really amazing to see such things available on the workshop.
pdelmo Jun 8, 2018 @ 12:41am
5 items all look great and a small file size, Perfect
Roadmaster '93 Jun 8, 2018 @ 12:28am
amazing!
girlfromverona Jun 7, 2018 @ 10:24pm
Awesome! These are going to be so useful. Thanks!

Greati_dea!
exothermic Jun 7, 2018 @ 8:09pm
Do these snap to the sides of the road? Is the Jersey Barrier slope tolerant. I'm trying to put a barrier down the middle of the MT or NE 1x1 lane highway.
ThePrince757Va Jun 7, 2018 @ 7:56pm
Scratch up another unworthy gift from Badi_Dea. I don't know what your plans are in the future , but I hope your consider power lines networks with your skills.
Badi_Dea  [author] Jun 7, 2018 @ 7:40pm
@Lextacy : try it and see, hint: of course!
Thanks all!
Lextacy Jun 7, 2018 @ 7:00pm
will the jersey barriers finally bend and warp to conform to the roundy and woundy roads?
AngryDragon Jun 7, 2018 @ 4:40pm
Thanks for the explanation. The more I learn about City Skyline, the more I understand why it chews up system ressources the way it does. This is pure insanity. It's been obvious since the first time I touched this game that there were glaring issues in how it's coded and implemented, and CO is really limiting it's potential user base by not taking care of that. City Skyline is really the only game which manages to push my computer beyond what it can realisticaly do and although the mobo/processor is getting somewhat old at this point, it's probably still more powerful then a lot of the machines peoples are buying nowadays.
behogie230 Jun 7, 2018 @ 4:33pm
Oh my gosh thank you so much!! I had just requested something like this the other day on /r/CSModding. You're consistently making the game better to play!
Badi_Dea  [author] Jun 7, 2018 @ 4:26pm
Thanks folks! I really appreciate it
leftbehind Jun 7, 2018 @ 3:56pm
I freaking love you! I've been craving a crash barrier network for my mountain roads that have steep cliffs on one side. My cims will appreciate the extra safety very much! :D
Rooster Jun 7, 2018 @ 2:53pm
Oh!Brilliant you answered my pleas.Thank you.
albertofuji Jun 7, 2018 @ 2:51pm
Superb!! thank you for sharing
