Skilled player can easily shoot heads and then shoot body, i won't call skill the ability to aim on single point and not moving mouse.
bodyshot/legshot is not skill, if your class/enemy is wrong for certain task.
What I said was not a paradox, I've clearly outlined the reasons why EDARs are bad, why they punish the skilled part of KF 2 (headshots) and reward the unskilled part (bodyshot spam), and also why they don't fit into the existing ecosystem. These are the primary reasons why EDARs are disliked, not the adaptation part. And no, bodyshot/legshot spam =/= skill.
I agree with the fact that they won't fit on holdout maps specially close quarter ones.(biotics lab, catacomb, nightmare etc) unless they're gonna be revamped on how and when to use abilities/or how to prevent abilites etc.
Still:
Stun through walls is probably gonna be fixed, i don't think they made it for purpose.
About "headshot-oriented gameplay." mostly true, though there are perks and weapons which doesn't rely on headshots (Gunslinger perks, Swat,Demo partly, Whole firebug class)
Firebug for particular is best to deal with dars, because of Microwave,imo.
Paradox, you're talking about skill-based, so aren't that a skill to prioritize some targets and their weakpoints? sounds like an adapt problem,Imo.(for example husk and fleshpound also have non-head crit areas)
I'm not really sure to call'em trash units, they appear around same amounts/delays as husks/sirens do.(there may be misconseption what is trash and what is not + i haven't played HoE with them yet, on suicidal they don't give much trouble)
Overall thought: they need to be tweaked, but i'm up to see them in game.
Not listening to the feedback on why EDARs are a fundamentally flawed concept before the Beta took place has already put the developers in an awkward situation. The mod is there to fix the mess they created. It has nothing to do with people being unable to adapt. Enemies which punish headshots and encourage bodyshots don't really belong to Killing Floor 2, which focuses (or, actually, used to focus) on skill-based, headshot-oriented gameplay. They're also trash enemies, which means that trash killing perks should be able to kill them quickly, with a few shots. Commando in particular should be able to easily get a Zed Time extension off a dead EDAR.
(+ imo people complaining about the idea of robots in zed-game are fun, Who you call a fleshpound then? Literally a metal bastard with engine core in middle and meat grinder in each hand...sounds more robotic for me.)
I haven't tested their difficulty in Endless HoE, but i think they still deserve to exist for more dynamic gameplay.
Instead of refusing someone's work/feature, suggest your own idea.

In order to be considered whitelisted, the "mod/mutator must not alter the core game experience or cause unwanted changes to a clients perks or game environment if they joined a server running it" ( source - TWI official forums [forums.tripwireinteractive.com] ). When the Beta update makes it to the main branch, I'm afraid that the EDARs will be considered part of "core game experience" (how ironical, I know), and the mutator will not stand a chance of being whitelisted as a result.
