is it possible to co-opt the juggernaught coding to create a mobile colony? Is that literally what you're trying to do with the next update?

Yes it is, but it counts as a starbase.

The dev is working on updating this mod. I am currently using it in the current version of the game, I have had few if any issues so far, though it does take up a civic slot, so add a mod that increases civic slots and put it very low on your list.

I'm assuming this doesn't work anymore, because whenever I play as a nomad species i can't get any CBs on anyone, am I the only one having this issue?

What does an ark ship do? Shouldn't it function as a mobile colony or something?

Hi, I've just been testing the mod for a bit and I was wondering if it's actually possible to play without any planets or habitats at all. I've built both ark and capital ark ships, and a starbase in another system, but then when I destroy the initial habitat using event planet_destruction.100, the game is lost. I was under the impression that the mod allowed you to play without any habitats. Am I doing something wrong or is it supposed to be that way?

The point of energy, mining, and factory ships is to add resources. They add to your stockpile just by existing. Factory ships add a good amount of alloys while taking out a chunk of minerals. You can see the total amount is listed as other when you hold your cursor over the resource in question.

This mod by far is my favourite. But thing is im kinda confused about how the energy tanker and mining ship thing works, is it supposed to look like a fleet that does damage? Cause it appears to and if it is supposed to look like that how does it actually gain energy from the sun? Basically i made energy tankers and how do they work and how do you use them? (same thing with mining ships) Im not sure if my thing is bugged or its supposed to be like that

Also, what is the point of a factory ship? And if you move a mining or energy tanker, does it remove the bonus?

And really truly lastly (because Valve does not let you edit entries here) the two Arks are treated by the game as some kind of unholy civilian/military hybrid as far as the UI is concerned. They don't show up in the civilian ships tab and actually spawn as part of the closest military fleet. You can't do anything with them unless you remove them from the fleet. It makes it difficult to keep track of them.

Lastly, what is the difference between a Nomad Ark ship and a Capital Ark? It doesn't appear the Capital Ark does anything the standard Ark does not (besides build standard Arks). Also, the megastructure project that builds a science ship does not have any text.

On another note, I'm sure I've asked before in the past, but how do you move your initial habitat (if you can)? I play with a mod that adds out-of-galaxy sectors (like what the T-gates do) and I usually spawn a rather OP one that features a broken ringworld as its hub. I like to migrate all my population to there and seal up the entrances.

I have the "full citizenship" missing problem myself, although I don't see it quite as a major problem. I mean, you cannot change your primary species to anything but and those other lesser planet-dwelling species don't deserve a place on MY bridge!

I'm really lost on this mod... I console trumped everything so I had everything to figure it out. I love the concept, but there's a lot of spit and polish needed here.

Yeah, I'm with Designer225. This is a great mod, but the Full Citizenship issue has sadly led mr to rotate it out of use.

More specifically, is_shackled_thrall_species_rights does not exist as a scripted trigger or effect. Could that be causing the citizenship type to freak out?

This mod inexplicably prevents "Full Citizenship" species rights from being used. Even when no other mods are loaded at all. More baffling is that it did not in previous versions. There seems to be a file called vf_citizenship_types.txt, which looks somewhat similar from 00_citizenship_types.txt. Could it somehow messes up the citizenship rights thing?

I tried to figure out how to start the game. It took me a while but you have to use the galactic nomads civic. Please explain in the summary for future players.

Was trying this a while back and the ability to close borders to other empires was non existent, they could cross my borders and I could cross theirs, including fallen empires. Sorry to report bugs here, not sure where I could've posted.

Is it intended that habitats (even for empires not doing anything with the mod) always have research districts? Normally the 4th district of the habitat is based on the planet the habitat is build over but with this mod enabled its always a research district no matter where its placed. I searched the discussions and comments briefly but i havent seen it mentioned anywhere.
