The Preferred menu should be a set of icons that display the foods that warly is craving at that day on the top of the screen, but asides from that, the mod is terrific.
not sure if its in the scope of this mod to add the salt rocks in the world gen, but it could be sold in hamlet or found in normal rocks or substituted by something like pumpkin spice or give some use for durain lol

So warly should be possible somehow. But yeah sorry im noob at modding :c
Good luck at bring us seasoning stations !
VitaminQ@ While Bamboo doesn't exist in Hamlet, the Pigg and Pigglet's General Store in town can sell Cloth of 5 Oinks. This makes it harder but not impossible to craft the Chef Pouch in Hamlet.
@VitaminQ I've though about it but I'm not sure what I would change. Wilbur is boring but the character does work well. Woodlegs is fine in SW but you can't use him at all in the other worlds and he would need a completely new kit to work which is kinda against his character design.
Eg. the Grim Gallete could require 2 NF, one sweet potato (instead of regular potato), and a monster meat/durian in place of the onion. Potato recipes in general could sub sweet potatoes. I'm not going to go so far as to make a suggestion for recipes for every dish obv, but I think it would be a worthwhile idea.
(Gonna level, I found this mod specifically by looking for something that would let me put blooming tubers in my crock pot, but this definitely looks like an amazing rework of the character and I do plan on checking it out regardless.)
There's the drying effect from perriot fish in SW, and with a longer duration that could work in place of the zero-wetness thing it has in dst. Not sure about the chaud, but maybe a longer duration damage bonus? Weaker to compensate vs the energy drink perhaps to balance within the mod.
I'm no modder so if this isn't doable then that's alright, just wanted to give my 2 cents on the matter
- Portable Grinding Mill, Portable Seasoning Station, special abilities for Fish Cordon Bleu and Volt Goat Chaud-Froid
I tried but I just couldn't get these to work. DST's code is actually really different from the base game. It's clear Klein has done a LOT more work on DST and most of these changes are really hard to port to the base game. This is made harder because tracking down EVERY change is a big chore as well.
- New vegetables: Onion, Pepper, Potato, Toma Root
Adding these are outside the scope of this mod. Even if they are used for Crock Pot meals, it makes more sense to add them to the game as a separate content mod. I have a compromise for the meals in the form of a "Use Substitutions" option that lets you use 1.0x Vegetables in place of a required ingredient.
Tropical Fruit Pie: This recipe was causing problems by making it hard to cook Fruit Medley and Fistful of Jam. I adjusted it's priority to 1 (above the other fruit meals) but also changed the recipe to: 3.0x Fruit with combined total of at least two Coconuts and Bananas. No Fish, Meat, Vegtable, or Twigs. This should allow Warly to make any of the 3 meals with the right ingredients.
Monster Hodge Podge: The recipe wasn't working correctly. It completely overrode Monster Lasanga and made it harder to create Monster Tartare. I've updated the recipe to make it more restrictive but also less complicated and allows for the other monster meals to be created. The new recipe is: Combined value of all ingredients must be at least 3.5x. Must contain Monster Food, and Meat or Fish, and Fruit or Sweetener, and Egg or Vegetable.
well i just used 3 raw bananas and 1 twig and a tropical pie was made :/ kind of frustrating when you are trying to make a Fruit Cup for variety. I like this mod a lot otherwise , but am just now getting used to the recipes...
Warly doesn't need a permanent speed boost. He already has a recipe that can give him one for a short time and speed boosts are considered to be extremely overpowered when made permanent.
@Desblat
I have no problem with you using my code as long as you give me credit for it and provide link to this mod so that people knew where the code came from. I am not sure if those food mods are compatible but I'll check on that soon.
Hello there!
I am making a character mod (actually it's a port from DST) - Star Butterfly. Can I use some of your code to make my character have the same Picky Eater mechanics as your Warly? Sent you friend request to discuss.
Also I am interested, does your mod support "Gorge food", "Waiter 101", "Camp cuisine" mods?
Best wishes,
Desblat
@HyperPixalNinja
The two mods should be compatible now. Monster Hodge Podge was the cause of the crashing due to how unusual it was. All the Improved Warly recipes will appear in the Craft Pot mod like every other recipe. Monster Hodge Podge will appear correctly but it's "Limit" will not be displayed because of how complex it is.
Sweets includes fruit dishes because otherwise, it would only have dishes that requires Honey and vegetables that come from farms. Originally, the Sweets menu was extremely hard to deal with if you could not find Honey and it only had a small amount of core dishes with a few world specific ones. After adding fruit dishes, it become broader and a lot more reasonable to deal with. I'm fine with menu overlap to an extent because it makes players be more careful with resources. "Should I eat a fruit dish today on Veggie day or save them for a Sweets day in the future?" Those choices help make Warly more fun to play.
