Can I use this mod to create a titular duchy (grand or otherwise) of Venaissin starting as a count of Venaissin & Viviers at 1066 start?

Hello, I've tested this with and without mods and it doesn't work for me. To be clear, I play on mac, I don't have any DLC's and as I understand it, in order to create/convert the counties/duchies into marches/principalities/grand duchies is to right click the title icon (shield/coat of arms) but when I do that there is no option to do so whether or not I own the title or the title doesn't exist yet. Please help me understand if I'm doing anything wrong. I would really love to add these features to my game.

Have you given any thought to expanding the number of empires that this covers, such as adding the Byzantine, Arabian etc. empires?

@JohnMems Prince of Wales title exists as a king-level title but you can only create it if you are Emperor of Britain, since historically it has been used as the title of the English and later British heir.

Does this work with the EU4 converter?

Can I not create the Grand Duchy of East Anglia?

I don't know if any of these are included but a Prince of Wales would be most Appreciated, as would Grand Duke of Luxembourg, Prince of Liechtenstein, Prince of Andorra, Prince of Monaco, Republic of San Marino, Prince of Malta, and last but not least le Dauphin which was the french counterpart of the Prince of Wales, it's just a suggestion, cheers mate.

So I've made myself Prince of Burgundy, as in a Principality of Burgundy, and I also hold the Duchy of Franche-Comte, but I haven't gotten a decision to become a Grand Duke, or I don't know where it is.

Would it be possible to add Britannia into the mix? Or even just Wales and Ireland?

Hey, I love the mod.

I hope you get back to modding soon. I noticed the options are not available for (reformed) pagans. I suddenly lost the options, first thinking some other mod had conflicted. After trying a few things I remembered converting to Pagan somewhere along the line and reforming the faith. I consoled back to catholic and got my options again. Is this an intended effect, or have you not got around to working the pagan part yet?

it just really bothered me that the coat of arms was so ugli. i'd also appreciate it if you'd replace the kingdom of lithuania when forming the grand duchy, because currently you can have both.

The option to form a grand principality doesn't appear, despite meeting the requirements. Any reason or fix for that?

Hi all, is this mod ironman compatible? It looks so great!

I have a slight problem with my games where I can't create a Principality. I think it might be due to me playing on an Alternate start but that is about it.

Please fix the Grand Duchess title, I really wanna be a Grand Duchy, but can't risk have a female ruler with a typo in the title!

You made a typo in your landed titles file. Now a grand duchess is called a GrandDuchcess.

So this is not working currently or am I doing it wrong looked in intrigue not there tried right clicking flag no, so working or not.

Hey everyone, sorry for the long hiatus. There are some limitations with the current mod and the current workaround is painfully long to code. I was hoping for an added feature in HF for the create_title decision that would let me localise the title name.

For now I'm working on localisation changes to titles for certain cultures and may work on a decision based version of this mod like what was added in HF (e.g. Antioch, Austria). Thanks for your support so far.

To answer some questions:

convert a title - if I can remember you need to right click the COA of the title and select the type of title you want (i.e. principality/march)- it won't work if it has been created/there is a title holder.

convert to grand duchy - automatically appears in creatable titles once you meet the conditions described in the mod description above

Ill be looking forward to your return so that I can use this with the current publish. After review, may I ask why the AI would not chose to create any of these titles? Would it be possible to allow them to? Like, maybe 70% they wont, and 30% they would? And lastly.... can you add the Welsh principalities.... Gwynedd, Deheubarth, Powys, and Glamorgan?

none of the title or decisions work . for example there is no augsburg in the game yet it was added to the code and i can't made grand duchy of swabia

I love the concept of this mod, but mainly because I want to turn my vassals titles into Prince/Grand Duke when I am an Emperor. I hope with the DLC out you are going to work on this further!

Just wanted to say that I love this mod so much already. When you get back to it i was wondering if it would be somehow possible to get baronies their own title. The reason I ask is for example I like to play from German territory, and I really enjoy reforming the kaiserreich. Berlin was it's own free province seperate from Brandenburg. London also was it's own administrative district. It might be later on than the ck2 timeline, but frankly, baronies are an area of the game where there's potential for mods. I think this mod might be able to do something with them, even if it's only the capital cities of kingdoms and empires. Maybe the lord-mayors of said capital cities get a bonus to gold so as to provide a bump to the liege for having the more prominent titled vassel. Just an idea maybe you could play around with. Anyways, again much love for this mod. It's brutal.

The only problem I can find with it is that my character's wife has a typo in her title.

what are the odds of you including the British Isles in this so we can recreate the welsh marches, and if you do can you include a compatabillity with whitwara unlocked for (Queen / King of The isle of Wight titled Duke like Isabella de fortibus and Henry Bauchamp duke of warwick)

I'm sorry to be a pest, but I cannot figure this out. I'm trying to convert duchies into Marches and the option to do it just isn't showing up. I'm playing as Charles the Bald and I want to turn some duchies on my border (Champagne, for example) into Marches. But when I click the title, there's nothing there (apart from the regular usurp/destroy stuff). I don't have any other mods on. What am I doing wrong?

Hello everybody sorry for the long delay, I have been busy but I appreciate everyone's comments. I won't be updating this mod in the near future, looking to finish it by June/July hopefully.

@dark heart: You need to 'Convert' the title first before being allowed to create the tile. You do so by right clicking the duchy's flag to pull up title decisions and selecting the 'Covert to Principality' decision.

@resistor789: I am not aware of that issue or have experienced on my end either. Sounds like a conflict with another mod perhaps.

@Zéphyrin: Thats possible due to a DLC missing. No idea though.

@Prime Minister David Thatcher: The requirements are either being independent or vassal (to an Emperor) Duke and hold 2 duchy titles, with one as your primary title. Archduke is for Austria as primary title of course.

@Duke of Jeroaldan: Perhaps if I find some time. I was looking into Landgraves when I was last investigating the possibilty of adding Viscounts

@Prime Minister David Thatcher, I think you need to be a vassal of an Emperor Tier or independent. I was a vassel of the King of Bavaria and I couldn't create a title "of the same tier as my liege".

Hi, any chance you could add Landgraves? The same as Margraves, but does NOT have any county on the border of the realm.

How do you create and Arch/Grand Duchy? I've got 2 duchies and over 1000 prestige but don't see any option...
