I am unable to do that as that would require 3D and coding expertise for the game and engine. Both of which I do not have. The most I can do is use existing assets and code and move them around, but to add in new ones or extend available ones is just nor possible for me unfortunately.

I advise you to look at Adler's addon on the SS troops and take it as an example.

There is a future in this. It makes sense.

I believe that China needs more units that would belong to different branches of the armed forces. And I advise you to work out the variability with weapons, so that there are not only soldiers with modern weapons in caps, but also with a German helmet.

The mod appears to be functionally correctly and does not need an update. Please note that GFX mod typically do not require constant updates to match current version numbers.

Mod version updated. But note that when I tested the mod prior to the update, I found no issues and the model appeared correctly.

Sir would you like to update this mod please? Now part of the mod can still function but some like cavalry, artillery and mechanized units can not.

Thats not something I can change, the model is the Cavalry model repurposed into an infantry model and given a recolor. Turning the boots into shoes would require finer skills we do not posses.

Why are the infantry with caps wearing jack boots? They wore leather shoes with puttees. Sometimes, they wore straw shoes. Please change this if you can.

I believe this elite mod for ROC has to be updated soon, only when Hearts of Iron IV has been patched to Ironclad 1.6.2.

It will take about a week's worth of updates by Paradox to start with for the upcoming weekend.

No matter what I try, everyone of your models, of all of your ROC skin-changing mods, got a kind of different-paintet cube with "+y" and
"-z" on the sides in the hand, instead of a rifle. I have tried it without any other mods and with different update-versions, but it doesn't work.
Please excuse any misstakes, my English is not the best.

Is it possible to add the Blue Sky and White Sky emblem on the tanks? Because it is historically accurate as the KMT did that during ww2 as well as the civil war.

My current list of tanks are M4 Sherman, M3 Stuart, M24 Chaffee, Panzer 1, T26 and the Ha-Go. These are the ones the ROC used that I could realisticy add into the game. While they did capture Japanese tanks, Chi-Ha, I could not add them due to the max limit for light teir.

Now for heavy and super heavy, since the ROC never had them, and the Germens never provided them some. I decided to pick and choose tanks based on the 2D sprite, in the end the heavy tanks looks like T1s and M6A1.

For super heavy, I used the french one, since it is the only one remotly close to the sprite.
For Modern it used the American one, the very clean looking pershing, since Chinese tank design (and modern ones) are heavly based on American examples.

Also there are no Renault FT models I could use.

Hey love the reskins. Have you considered adding vehicle reskins to this version as well? If you do I have a suggestion for the vehicles used, being

Great War Tank: Renault FT

Light Tank: Soviet T26

Medium Tank: Chi-Ha

Heavy Tank: Tiger or GrossTracktor (is both possible for different techs?)

Super Heavy Tank: French Super-Heavy

Modern Tank: Either the American or German modern tank

My reasoning behind mostly cutting out American tanks is they only really existed in India, while the T26 was the most foreign delivered tank to Nationalist China. The German tanks are included because the Chinese armored forces were developed through German advisors and means and would likely continue along those line if the ROC had had the resources and time to do so and if Germany had not lost the war.

The French tank is there because I don't think other countries heavies look as improvised or made on the fly as it, as it looks like an experiment.

Nope, that being said, I finished updating everyting and even went and added alot more stuff. Namely the ability to change appearance for elite infantry, motorized and mechnized infantry, and tanks. However the tank stuff is subjective since people who have the Colonel upgrade pack will get more eye candy, if you don't have that you still get more models overall, just not alot more for tanks. I'll post the update when 1.5.2 comes out.

Starter infantry equipment: Helmited 88th Rifle
Second teri equipment: Military Cap 88th Rifle
Third teir Equipment: Helmited 88th MG
Final teir equipment: Military Cap 88th MG

Default avalible: Default Tan Rifle.

Also I've managed to make it so that you can choose either to have the Helmited 88th infantry or a military cap 88th infantry. Rifles and MGs are avalible to both, and are unlocked by equipment teir.

So after looking around at the current code. It seems the system is less flexibale then I had thought. The game will allow you to choose models, but the models are tied to teir of equipment. But back to your question. Yes it is possible, I've manage to make it so the game will have the default tan outfit as an option, but the default tan is restricted to only using rifles, there is no way to make it have both rifle or mgs to my knowledge. The default model is calling the entity from the DLC folder, so I can't edit that.

Hello, creator, thanks for all your Chinese Infantry reskin work as a ROC player.

The 3rd update of 1.5.2 Beta allows player to choose any army template's 3D model in game.

So, is any way to update your mod for the use of choosing your model for some elite infantry, while keep the original model in game as a option for some normal or out-dated infantry?
