Personally speaking, I'm just not really a fan of the whole enforced RP idea. I know lots of folks love to roleplay, but I've just never been too keen on it. If that's the primary aspect of your server, then it just wouldn't be a good match for me. Wish you all the best though, and it's encouraging to see so much great stuff being put out by the community.
Our principles for new players are actually very simple: be respectful, role-play IC, and don't deliberately cheat. It is true that there is a lot of fine-print but it's not something we expect everyone to spend a lot of time with until they decide that they want to stick around for the long term. You can read the most up to date rules here, it is mostly pretty straight-forward stuff:

I agree that no one wants to spend valuable in game time reading some ancient rule book though, so we will remove that from the starter area.
It may well be that EFU still isn't for you, but I don't really think we're being that unreasonable regarding rules. Not much drama with us, and players who do bring ooc drama tend to be removed from the community.
And then I spawned in front of a bookshelf, and read the "rule book." Immediate pass.
Would be nice if all these pedantic rules were clearly outlined in the Steam Workshop BEFORE sitting through an 8gb download and going through character creation.
Don't get me wrong. It looks amazing. It's very impressive, and it's clearly a labor of love. But this kind of stuff and strong potential for drama is the whole reason I don't play public servers in general for most games.
"Many players have sorted it out, I suggest checking discord for help."
AKA, please go elsewhere.
Many players have sorted it out, I suggest checking discord for help.
Your character (which you portrayed as being mentally unhinged) was removed for IC reasons from an IC group of staid local guards. The fact that you took this IC action as an excuse to have an OOC tantrum here and elsewhere reflects more on your own failings as a player than any issues to do with the server.
Harsh penalties for respawning and an excruciating tutorial keep this PW shelved for more consistent experiences like Ravenloft.
Looking forward to the years to come, exploring this rich atmosphere.
How i unistall EFU? :/
Unsubscrided from CEP as suggested in the comments here, still crashing.
Should I download from the forum?
Yes, I definitely want to confirm that just going out and killing monsters for XP is the worst way to advance in EFU. Instead we have hundreds of scripted quests and other content.
Any player shouldn't find it too difficult to get to level 5 in a solid evening of play.
Just do some quests, you'll get to level 5 in an hour or two.
Some other points on EFU's magic power are:
A distinctive take on magic items. We avoid the usual D&D progression through "+1, +2, +3..." enhancement bonus items for armor and weapons. Instead, our best quest loot is startlingly creative and thematic - selecting among many other item properties provided by NWN (and unique powers that we create ourselves). Generally the items do not balloon in power in the way that they might in a usual D&D game, and the result of this is that EFU combat is different: more exciting and tactical.
Consumable magic We emphasise consumable magic and duration effects quite a lot (potions, wands and other items with charges, use/day items, summoned creatures, protective and strengthening spells).
what is the max lvl cap and what does low magic-power world mean?
If you seek a challenge, something that will hold your interest... EFU is right for you!
