Is this compatable with the Roaming Fanatic Mod? I just wish to run both so I don't have to listen to the screaming and can tell where he is, but also benefit from him actually having a stradegy besides 'lol random cursed die'.

Any reason as to why this made the fanatic spawn without a loading screen in my run when I had no cursed heroes in my party?

@Cera Fanatic can only really show up if you have multiple CC'd heroes, so you should always be wary of Fanatic if you take more then 2 at a time

Unless you know something I don't, how can you prepare for him? You only know when he's going to be in the dungeon if his loading screen shows up.

Bruh nerf him down a bit in early game got stuck fighting him and more than half the time i had someone stunned and someone on pyre with only two characters able to actually do something and then he buffed himself to the point where i couldnt do anything and after all that shit lost a decent character and two good trinkets. Fuggin looks lke a alright boss for later on but as it is his pyre shouldnt take up two slots cause it makes him immune to melee characters half the time and this is all without bringing up the stupid amount of moves he has like damn. In the time i could move my two characters hed stun one debuff and mark another while still dealing damage then my already stunned member would come out of it and get whacked only for his pyre to start screaming.

I just got 2 fanatics in one run. Also its impossible to kill him without ruining entire run.

I figured out the bug. It's caused by having no target on the mark skill and then killing him before he can use another skill. I fixed the bug when I reduced mark duration, so that it's not possible for him to mark everyone permanently anymore.

No, I went into mission with already cursed heroes. Even got scout on his fight just didnt know that was him. The problem with hitting rank 3 was that crusaider was shuffled on 4th place and hwm was all the time on 1st since pyre put you there after letting you go. I had heroes for only that party so going without speedy classes was impossible.

Oh and if you haven't already, I recommend placing this mod above the courtyard mod to give it priority. And could you please link the courtyard mod so I can be sure I'm checking the right one?

The loot bug is a weird one since I've never experienced it myself. I feel like it was caused by a conflict between this mod and the quest mod for courtyard. I don't have the time right now to properly look into it and possibly fix it, but I think it should work fine in all the other regions even if you have that mod on. (I'll check for conflicts later).
I assume you got jumped by Fanatic by getting your fourth hero infected while in the courtyard and not actually going in with 4 infected heroes. (Won't happen again since he can't spawn there). He has a bit higher dodge when the pyre is empty. As with the regular Fanatic, being able to hit rank 3 is important. The turn order will most likely go like this, if you have fairly speedy heroes:
Fanatic Mark -> your heroes -> fanatic twice -> pyre
So if you want to use speedy classes take into account that he will be in the back when you get to move. Which is why you could only point blank the Pyre.

Also it should be that way that guy on the pyre doesnt check rounds? Hwm had mark for 5(I think) whole rounds cause he was getting put on pyre all the time. Also after the mark attack he is on the back right? When I was playing hwm was most of the time on 1st position and could only point blank pyre. Probably just bad party for fanatic cause crusaider had same problem and occult didnt hit a single knife attack on him(I think I did try to stab him twice). Most important is to get rid of that bug of not getting loot from fight though.

Great to hear some feedback! He moves exactly three times each round. Once to mark and then twice more. I was kind of thinking that the stun was a bit too high of a chance and with you confirming that, I'll definitely take it down a notch. It is definitely not meant to stun frequently. I'll also tweak a few buff durations so that they won't stack up. The mark attack won't do anything if your whole party is already marked, but it'll still trigger. I'll look into fixing him trying to use it when everyone is already marked. And the courtyard spawn was 100% a bad idea.

Its pretty depressing when he has first mark attack, then 3 attacks and one of them can stun entire/half of the party. And then this stress/buff attack from pyre. I had luck that I brought party that anyone could heal in(arbalast,occult,crusaider) and they saved Hwm like 3 times. Its just kinda not fun when you have to sit and watch his 5 turns. Also sometimes there was his attack name(the first round mark one) but he didnt do anything. Great to hear that you delate him from courtyard cause I always go with cursed team there(cause everyone will get curse anyway).

I am going to remove him from the courtyard for good (this bug was most likely due to a few special interactions he has with the bloodsucker spawns by default). I won't be able to look much further into the bug right now, but I will definitely check some of my theories in a few days. I was playing mission on courtyard and I get into his fight. I was fighting but he is unsatysfying to fight against but I guess its his primary design. I losed 2 heroes but killed him but when fight came back to corridor I couldnt take trinkets from my heroes or any fight loot. Couldnt move or reject them either I had to abandon quest. Here is screenshot how it was:

I was using mods for 7 skills,3 trinkets and normal quests for courtyard if it matters.

I have a finished design for a new and improved Necromancer, which I'll code next week when I have more time on my hands. My plan is to rework most if not all of the bosses in the game.

Thanks! It took a while to figure out how to make the changes that I wanted, but in the end payed off. The end result is a mixture of the Prophet's and Hag's ai.

Fleshed out the details of the mod and added in some effects I did not have before. Hopefully everyone will enjoy the mod!
