Very nice. By any chance would you make a Medic Field watch for KAT/KAM medical community? I can provide a real world reference watch. You'd have a far larger user base as well.

I agree, but the Arma inventory sucks. Hopefully in the future they will improve it so you can carry a watch on one wrist and a different item on the other wrist.

What kind of trouble are you experiencing? Did you follow the instructions above? The keyboard commands are listed under Controls > Configure Addons > Depth Gauge

RQ-11 miiiiiight get an update and a release on here. I see that BI has released a scriptable laser in the beta version of the game (5 years after asking). If I can get that working and maybe a few other things working, I'll maybe work on it and release it here.

The UDM was never released for Arma 2. I ended up splitting up most of the components into things like this addon. Gear interaction underwater isn't possible at the moment. I mean, you can kind of do it once, like interacting with a box that's underwater. But you can't access your own gear when underwater. The only solution to this would be to create a copy of your gear into a new interface, but it would be a massive buggy pain in the ass to code. So I've never done it. I was just hoping that BI would eventually enable underwater inventory access, but after all these years, they won't do it.

Hello, Feint. I loved the UDM (when it was available a while back), but I'm wondering if you have a current version available - especially one where you can interact with your gear underwater. ?

Arma 3 came out and so I started making UDM for Arma 3. But then I was waiting for some other devs to make some things and it didn't work out. So I ended up releasing the separate parts of the UDM as standalone things for Arma 3 such as the light, the dive watch, the shark, etc. I'm currently working (kind of) on a dive board that will have a watch and a depth gauge and a compass on it. Compass works, the depth gauge works, and I need to make the dive watch. I also have an SDV enhancement mod that's pretty close to done, but I want to give the sonar one more try to get it to work the way I want.

OK, I fixed it. I renamed the PBO when I started by accident so for the last like 10 hours, I've been testing changes and not seeing any results, because there were two PBOs competing for Arma's attention. LOL. Ugh! So it works now. It was a relatively simple fix, I think, so I'm going to apply this to my sailing mod which had the same problem.

Let me know if you still have a problem with it. But it's working for me now.

OK, I took a look and have been doing some testing for hours. Honestly, I can't figure it out. Nothing in my addon should be interfering with ACE and TFAR. Of course, they have their own hyper-complex way of doing things, so there's obviously something that I'm missing. I'll keep investigating. But if you reach out to them, please let me know if they have any insight into the problem.

OK, thanks for letting me know. I'll investigate. I don't use ACE and TFAR, but I'll download and peek at their configs. We are probably using the same IDDs for our displays.

As much as I love this, its breaking ACE and TFAR. The overlays nolonger show so I cant see when the radio is working (I can only hear it), and things like barrel heat check and other types of passive overlays that ace and tfar create dont work either.

The rebreathers require more knowledge about 3D modeling than I have. But it's something I would like to learn. Some day.

@pzyqux, Thanks. I use Photoshop for graphics work, Sublime Text 2 for coding, and the BI tools for getting the textures in the game, creating the addons and uploading to Steam. It takes a lot of effort to learn how to make good addons and mods that don't break, and there's no money and little external reward to it. But if you are motivated to turn your creations into reality, it's very rewarding internally and I've learned a lot about scuba diving, sailing, and other things through my addons.

@cha0s: I don't think there's anything existing yet other than this addon. This version 1.0 depth gauge is definitely geared more toward civilian use, and I plan to make a more robust version used by civilians and military very soon.

H Everyone, thanks for the kind words (except for that guy who called it boring).

@RickOShay, I don't have any current knowledge of 3D modeling, and would love to work with someone again to make a scuba tank backback or vest with hoses leading to the unit's mouth. If someone makes that, I think I can code it. The hose to the mouth basically has to be separately textured, and the (in the water) texture is called once people get their feet wet. I have some experience with that and I think I can make that work. I'd love to see a snorkel, different dive masks and a open circuit SCUBA system with various number of tanks. I think the tanks and the BCD could all be combined into one thing, or the BCD could be a vest and the tanks could be the backback. I pretty much have an open circuit SCUBA coding system already written, just need to modernize it and test it extensively so that it works.

Thanks very much. I really like the TAC-100 board and it's been something I've been researching for a long time. I think it's too large for a display because it would take up so much of the screen. I've been wanting to make an actual version you can hold, similar to the compass in DayZ but I don't know how to do that. It would have to be a rifle as you can only hold rifles underwater, unless I changed the animation structure for swimming, which is possible but looks like a crap load of work until I learn how to do it.
