it works...but makes most empires blue for me, making it hard to distinguish between you and them.

It is, although to get a completely 1.9 style look there's other effects you'd have to remove such as border shadowing and zoom fade.

Was considering an Even Even Even Even Thinner Borders edition, but I think I might wait until 8K is standard so you can see the borders still. :P

it would be cool if it was a seprate mod so thinner borders and another one that requires this mod that adds the colour swap.

There are plenty of mods that do either but none that does both. Come on, you know you want to package the version you're using and upload for the prestige ;)

I'll be honest the current personal version I use does that. Was tempted to just add the change to the public mod but wasn't sure if majority would want it. :P

A version of this mod which also swaps primary and secondary colors woult be the coolest thing.

Yup, also make sure you swap secondary and primary colours around and then you have something similar to vanilla.

If anyone is interested, I changed the mod ro read the following, it removes borders completely:

float vEdgeWidth = 0.0001f + 0.001f * vCamDistFactor / 4;
